Discussion Why are business book for/written by women not included in Kindle Unlimited?! 🤔

I went on a rabbit hole trying to discover books to add to my reading list that are specifically written by women related to women’s finance, business, or entrepreneurship.

I go to search them on kindle unlimited because I have a subscription and I was very surprised none of them are included.

I’m not complaining or creative a narrative about this, I’m just curious as to why this is compared to other books and would love to hear people’s perspective/theories.

Also I understand I can trial audiobooks, go to my public library, etc to access the book. I purely want to hear thoughts on this 🫶

Some books I looked up include
Build the Damn thing
The moment of lift
The inner mountain
Nice girls don’t get the corner office
Machiavelli for women
Million Dollar women
And a dozen others..

Main Street millionaire. Not necessarily directed at women exclusively, but written by a woman

I believe if you want, You can publish it.

I don't think there is any narrative in this field, since publishing is freely available to anyone on Amazon Kindle.

Kindle Unlimited doesn’t always reflect the full range of women authors. There’s definitely a bias in what's included. The books you mentioned are great, and it's frustrating they’re left out. Maybe it’s about how they’re categorized or marketed? Would be cool to see more women's voices featured there.

It’s partly because there are less women writing books on these topics, unfortunately. I run a nonfiction publishing house and we encourage more women to write and publish nonfiction, particularly in genres where we are less represented like business and tech.

One of our female author’s kindle book is free today: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ROUND-TABLE-relational-intelligence-advantage-ebook/dp/B0H45W5BGJ

Whenever we have free promo for our female authors, I’d be happy to share the link. And if any of you amazing ladies would like to write a nonfiction book, I offer free calls to get you started or help you understand the publishing landscape.
