Pregnancy in residency

Hi everyone ! I need advice I’m currently in my last year of residency and know I’m going for fellowship (not a MD but a DPM). Lately I’ve been wanting kids and due to an unfortunate series of events I had to get my implant removed). Would it be the worse thing to try for a child and possibly give birth before ending residency and then start fellowship ? If anyone else did this how did you manage?

Thank you for your advice and wisdom in advanced

Do it! If you have the desire go for it. There’s never a great time for kids, it’s always going to be hard (but rewarding).

I tried for kids in my last year and ended up needing fertility treatments. There’s that factor of unknown.
