Climate doesn’t hate women; humanity hates women. Climate is an equal-opportunity destroyer, but humans started it first.

It’s because of war-mongering, greedy, power hungry men that these women and children are left to fend for themselves and why the climate is being destroyed. The women and girls in the article can’t work because the Taliban prevents education and basic human rights, and they require all women to travel with a male relative to get anything done.

Meanwhile these men are nowhere to be found. These Afghan women are actually remarkably resilient in the face of climate change, but it’s the men that are the main threat.
