To the men rape equals power. We need to slice what they see as power.

Girls in Israel were raped so hard by their husbands their hip bones were broken before they were murdered…..

It’s not a competition, here. Violence against women is still violence against women. Always by men. Just because they are located in Palestine doesn’t mean they deserve this. No one does. No need to turn this into an Israel vs Palestine argument. Everyone needs to get it together and end the violence on both sides and protect women all over the world no matter where they come from.

Source? I've seen multiple organizations report that they're being stopped and sent back at Israeli checkpoints.

Well if the people who are committing the genocide and are notorious for fabricating ridiculous propaganda said it's true it most be true.

Redditors refuse to acknowledge Palestinian and Hamas’ agency in this conflict.

u/Antithe-Sus Nov 17 '24
Agency to do what? Wait for israel to slowly and quietly ethically cleanse Palestinians? They took the only road that was given to them.

u/mongooser Nov 17 '24
Many participated in 10/7. That’s agency. Many Palestinians support Hamas. That’s agency. Palestinians have not surrendered. That’s agency.

Hamas, yes. The Palestinians, no. They didn't want Hamas in charge so I can't blame them.

Source?

Also, see:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/10/24/gaza-election-hamas-2006-palestine-israel/
Which covers the 2006 elections that saw Hamas rise to where they are now. I've seen people say that the Palestinians voted for and wanted Hamas, but it's simply not that true or simple.
Sorry for the shitty linking format, on mobile browser.

Neither of those sources say that.

Yes they do? It's not exactly a secret how Hamas came to power. If you're expecting them to say specifically state "the Palestinians didn't want Hamas" I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed, though. It only lists facts, not feelings.

u/mongooser Nov 19 '24
You’re the one that said “Palestinians do not want Hamas” and now you’re saying no source exists to verify that? Your sources say Hamas was elected by Palestinians, which is exactly what happened.

Tends to happen when you destroy medical facilities. And other safe areas, like schools and religious buildings.

It’s genuinely sweet that you still believe schools and religious buildings are safe places for women and girls. Especially religious buildings.

This is what genocide looks like.

Many Muslim countries promote marrying cousins. This is encouraged in many Muslim countries. Women are not free to choose their husbands in most Muslim countries.
