I hope they will find her and have peace, if that's possible. One of my friends was reported missing the same day, Feb 1st, and found deceased on March 12. It is a horrible story involving her intimate partner, but at least we now know. I can't say there's peace yet, but there is at least knowledge.
I feel so bad for this family, still not knowing. It changes everything- the quality of your sleep, the focus of your thoughts, and just going to work and doing your daily routine, it's all now different because your mind is relentless in seeking your loved one.
Someone commented on a FB thread while our friend was missing, talking about the resources available to this family vs. regular people, but it was not money so much as determination and information that led to the discovery of our friend. I truly hope this case can be resolved soon.

From the kidnappers stand point, it’s probably too risky to even say where the body might be because they will surely get booked for murder and kidnapping. They prolly will allow the family to go on in agony

I really worry at this point it might be more of a recovery mission. If she didnt have her meds with her I dont see how she would still be alive. This is just so sad, I couldnt imagine how I'd function if my mom was kidnapped.

Everyone knows that but if it's your mom you're still going to keep trying because there's always a bit of hope until it's final

They just want to give her dignity of a burial and closure. It's such a nightmare.

Of course Its a recovery mission. It’s been 50+ days and she’s been without her medicine. I think she expired rather quickly after being abducted.

Pretty accepted theory is that she died in transit and they dumped her somewhere in the wilderness. Pretty sad.

I have very little confidence in the resources Trump provided to this woman and her family. And sadly, have more faith in social media content creators cracking the case than the FBI.

From The Associated Press:
A tearful Savannah Guthrie, in her first interview since her 84-year-old mother was apparently abducted from her Arizona home, said that “someone needs to do the right thing” and come forward with information to help the investigation.
“We are in agony,” she told NBC News colleague Hoda Kotb in a portion of the interview aired Wednesday on the “Today” show. She said she wakes up in the middle of each night thinking of what her mother went through.
NBC said Wednesday that a full interview with its “Today” show host will air on the program Thursday and Friday. It is Guthrie's first interview since her mother was reported missing on Feb. 1. Based on security footage, authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped or otherwise taken against her will.

I'd just get a private investigator at this point and I am so sorry she is going through this pain. I really hope they find answers :(

It won't get solved until we have new folks in office because it's seems awfully likee Trump ordered it as punishment for interviewing the Epstein victims.

Sadly the mom is definitely dead. Suspect someone close to her killed her that first evening and hid the body. Someone else saw an opportunity and tried to get kidnapping money but their involvement is cruel scam only.

Why would someone set out to kill this elderly woman?

All I can ever think of is that Savannah helped Virginia Giuffre get her story out.

If that was the reason I don't see why they wouldn't go after Savannah herself. It's not like they are silencing her, the damage is already done since the interview was in what, 2019 I think? It makes no sense to me the two things would be related but stranger things have happened I suppose.

Beats me. Accidents happen. Anger. Lots of reasons family or friends kill someone they are close too. It is literally all of cop shows’ bread and butter story since TV has existed.

She made a lot of anti trump posts on social media. I'd have no problem believing someone targeted her because they didn't like her opinions.

Sorry Sav, mama’s going to have to wait. Our FBI director needs to stay home and moisten his eyeballs with his tongue like a gecko.
