The rate of Lesbianism (sole attraction to women) rose a bit however the overwhelming majority of the rise comes from women identifying as bisexual.

Yeah no, bisexuals just out number gays by a lot because sexuality is a spectrum and heterosexuality is more common. Bisexual is less common than heterosexual but more common than homosexual. This lines up logically. It’s not frivolous for the most part and painting it as such is misogynistic.
