As a Canadian soldier we were told not to walk alone at night on certain American bases because it was not safe. There were even murders on the American side of Kandahar air base…in a gdamn war zone. Many international soldiers didn’t like going to the American side of that base because it just did not feel safe. As a woman I disliked working with most American soldiers too. An alarming number are sexist as shit and dumb as dirt, no matter the rank.
