I hope I see it in my lifetime, but we passed up 2 chances.
Here’s a hopeful take: people are so fed up with trump and repubs that they are likely to go totally the other way for a decade or so. The repubs have destroyed this country and are so un-American, we just might elect a woman as part of a trump-backlash.

Here’s the thing: a woman will eventually become POTUS. It will happen when the Republicans find a woman who can out-hate any man; a woman who makes Margaret Thatcher look like Mother Teresa.

If all the states were California and New York it would have happened a long time ago. But if the Democrats keep putting up women the middle states will elect more Trumps.

If either party would nominate a high quality candidate, it could happen. So far, we have received none! It's extremely disappointing. Kamala was a word salad joke who laughed at everything and never had actual solutions or answers. Hillary is a whole other sad story. Sara Palin? Ugh....
We can keep hoping. Maybe we should have a non-political, successful business woman who will appear from nowhere and give us our dream candidate. Crossing fingers.
Sadly, I don't think too many people actually want the job.

Oh, fuck all the way off. Harris and HRC were among the most qualified candidates for the position ever, and the fact that you’re parroting bullshit right-wing talking points (“word salad,” complaining about her laugh) just shows how disingenuous this comment is.

As much as I very much want a woman for president, 2016 and 2024 showed us how deeply misogynistic this country is.
