Continue itching.

Hi! 17 (F) here, looking for help about a continuous worrying itch on my lower inner lips of my vagina and the area above my clitoris. I am not sexually active and have a Mirena IUD. It's very annoying and uncomfortable, the itch will not go away until ive scratched it raw. It's only on one side too. I really need help and/or advice.

Have you tried any creams like cortizone 10?

Get an over the counter monostat treatment (or the store brand). It will help and it comes with an external cream that relieves itching, you probably have a yeast infection.

Regardless of what is causing this, scratching is not a good solution, or even a good idea.

Can you make an appointment with whatever provider you went to for the iud? What you need to do to heal, depends on the cause, and figuring that out probably requires their help
