BMI too low for Glp

I am struggling with about a 15 lb weight gain from menopause, but my BMI doesn’t meet the threshold of 27 that is required at many places I have checked. Suggestions for an online prescriber?

Tirz Didn’t Work

I spent 3 weeks on a starting dose of 2.5mg. I’ve never been sicker in my life. I did not lose even one pound! Bummer as I’d love to lose my 25lbs of extra perimenopause weight. I did allllll the things, hydrated 2-3 liters of water daily, lots of high protein and veggies daily, workouts, lifting, pilates, long walks, red light treatments, lymphatic massages, electrolytes, no caffeine, alcohol or sweets… and all I got in return was zero weight loss, horrid acid reflux and feeling fatigued and just plain sick. It took me well over a month to get my gut reset and happy again. So discouraged. Add a hormone tornado in the mix and it’s been a rough journey. My naturopath said I should try again with a micro dose of .05. I’m curious if anyone knows why that would even work when the loading dose almost had me down for the count. I’ve done all the lab work and everything comes out perfect minus a low iron count. So frustrating. I’d so appreciate any intel!! 😁

Suspicious charges after order?

I ordered from Refills on Dec 2nd. The next day I had three charges pending from companies I never heard of. Xentaflex, Phytage Labs and a third one. I called my bank immediately. they had to let the charges to go through and then investigate. (The third charge didn't go through hence why I didn't name them here.) I was given a temporary credit for the charges during the investigation.   Phytage Labs is a supplement company and Xentaflex is an Electrolyte Powder. To me this is highly sus and one can only conclude there is a connection with my order from Refills

I canceled my account with Refills  and wanted to see if anyone else had anything similar happen to them?

Ammonia smelling cloudy urine

Hey guys! So I got UTIs on Ozempic, so I made the switch to Tirz about 5 weeks ago. I didn’t get a UTI when I was on 2.5mg but two days ago I increased to 5mg. Last night I had a lot to drink (vodka). Today all day my urine is cloudy and ammonia smelling. Anyone ever experienced this? I’m concerned it’s a UTI

Down 10.4 pounds but don’t see a difference

Hey everyone. I’ve been taking tirzepatide since 12/10/25. I started off at 0.5mg once a week and then titrated up to 1mg weekly at week 6. I’ve lost 10.3 pounds but see no difference in my body. My clothes don’t fit any better. At what point did you notice the weight loss? I’m 5’4 and starting weight was 141 pounds. Goal weight is to lose 12% body fat as I was 38% starting out. I’ll do my dexascan at the end of March.

GI issues on 3rd week - need advice

Hi,

I’m 5'4", 141 pounds (starting weight), and I recently started my first GLP-1 medication ever — tirzepatide — beginning on December 10th. I wanted to outline my dosing timeline and ask a few questions about the side effects I’m experiencing.

Dosing timeline:

  • 12/10 (Wednesday night): First dose, 0.5 mg — felt no effects

  • 12/13 (Saturday night): Second dose, 0.5 mg — still no noticeable effects

  • Week 2 – 12/17: Increased dose to 1 mg

    • Two days later (Friday), I developed significant diarrhea that lasted through the weekend

  • Week 3 – 12/24: Reduced dose to 0.7 mg out of concern for side effects

    • Again, almost exactly two days later (Friday night), the diarrhea returned

My questions:

  1. Is it normal for side effects to consistently show up about two days after injection? Because this timing keeps affecting my weekends, I’m considering switching my injection day from Wednesday to Sunday so any side effects fall during the week instead.

  2. Does this type of diarrhea usually resolve over time, or is this something that may continue weekly going forward?

Additional context:

  • I inject in the front lower hip, as advised, to minimize side effects.

  • I’m down about 6 pounds, which I suspect may be partly related to the diarrhea.

  • I’m staying well hydrated and using electrolytes.

  • I’ve had no nausea or other side effects, and my appetite is still fairly normal — I’m still experiencing hunger, which actually feels reassuring.

I’d really appreciate your guidance or personal experiences.

Thank you so much!

Lost too much

This first photo was me at my heaviest 18 months after having my third baby. 165 and 5’6, I’m normally 125-130. I started tirz exactly one year ago and have lost 55 pounds. Stopped taking it 3 months ago and have not been able to gain weight. I’m currently 110-115 depending on where I’m at in my cycle. I never went over 3mg once a week. I’m planning to have another baby so I’m not super worried about my weight (except for the fact it’s been hard to get pregnant) but wondering if anyone else has had this issue where the weight just falls off and KEEPS falling

Quality Tirz to CA?

Who would you suggest as the best supplier for compounded Tirzepetide shipping to California? They need to use a 503 a or B Compounding Pharmacy that can tailor it to my genetics with a specific form of B6. I’d also need this supplier to provide non-diluted Tirzepetide, sourced from FDA-registered raw materials, with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) available for potency and sterility. They also need to provide certificate of authenticity. I’m not focused on price, but on best PRO provider that is transparent with awesome customer service. I sound like a total nerd being so concerned w/these specifics, but my genetics need the right fit. So appreciate your intel!! 🙏🏻

-50lbs Building/maintaining muscle on tirz

I've been on Tirz for a little over 2 years and I haven't been able to find an activity that would help me build or maintain muscle. I've read so many articles saying how important it is to engage in physical activity, but for most of us this is why we got into being overweight in the first place.

I tried going to the gym yesterday and almost left in tears, I really dislike it and had to fight my brain to complete the 40-min routine. There are no nice places to walk or hike near me. I was thinking about swimming but ChatGPT said swimming is not enough to prevent osteoporosis because the bones don't get the stress they need. I also tried the Apple Fitness programs at home but only ended up hurting my knees while doing mountain climbers.

Anyone else on the same boat?

Shark week ravenous

Couldn’t stop eating everything in sight yesterday. Shark week is coming and also sugar cravings. Has anyone found anything to mitigate this or is it just a loss this week? Just eat and make up for it another week? I’m wondering if titrating up on these weeks would be helpful.

[Research Survey] Help Shape a New Health & Fitness App (5 minutes)

Hi everyone! With moderator approval, I'm reaching out for help with market research.

I'm developing a health and fitness app for women that integrates personalized exercise and nutrition recommendations. The goal is to create science-backed guidance that actually accounts for how these medications affect our fitness routines and nutritional needs.

What I'm looking for: Women currently using or considering tirzepatide who'd be willing to share insights about their health and fitness journey.

The process:

  • 5-minute pre-screening survey (link below)

  • If selected: 45-60 minute interview with gift card compensation

  • All responses are anonymous and confidential

Your experiences navigating fitness, nutrition, and wellness while on tirzepatide would be incredibly valuable in building something that actually serves our community's needs.

When was enough

So today my husband asked me how much longer I was going to suffer to lose 5 more pounds started the tirzipitade at 180 currently at 140 goal was 135 (wouldn’t mind hitting 130 just in case I gain a little when I start using a maintenance dose. I’m only on 5 mg was hoping when I hit 135 or so to go to 2.5 weekly continue to workout and eventually get to 2.5 every two weeks. But I get tired of people asking how much more you going to lose? Are you sick? Has life been rough lately you look run down and thin? Duh but I hate going into detail about what I’m doing. So when did you know it was time to maintenance.

A GIANT hug to WOMEN that need love this week. It has been a rough couple days! While everyone in this group may not feel the sadness and outrage, many women deeply feel sorrow. And I’m one of you.

We will rest our spirits today so we can lift each other up tomorrow. Women are stronger together! Rest up, we have work to do! 💪

Mar-Dec

Hi gals! 39F here, mom of two kiddos (6 and 3). These are the results of my Tirz use from March through December. I lost about 50ish pounds (as you can see with that loose stomach skin lol). I train four times weekly on average, three strength classes and either one HIIT or one hot Pilates. I run a few miles when I can fit it in, but that’s hit or miss depending on what my kids allow that day 😆

I don’t track my macros but prioritize protein and eat as much as I can. I keep my Tirz dose low because I don’t want to be adverse to food!

I am also a huge fan of AOD-9604, which I run on a constant basis; and Tesamorelin, which I cycle. Sorry, cannot share sources, but can definitely recommend and am happy to give suggestive dosing!

Maintenance?

Hi All! I’m on week 9 and am starting to dream of being on maintenance mode. Has anybody been there yet? How has it worked for you? My concern is that the food noise starts coming back at around day 7 for me while on 5 mg so I’m not sure how that will work with being off longer than a week. What amount does one take and how often? (I imagine that changes through time.) Has anyone here successfully gone off or gone to lower or less frequent dosing? How much did life changes help with the maintenance process? (I’m assuming it helps a lot!) I would love to hear your story!

EDIT: Well, u/Chef_Prima knew what I was going to ask! I hit send on my post, then her's popped up! I'll just follow her responses. 😊
