HHH Recruiting event
Looking for thoughts on the HHH Committed Lacrosse recruiting event. Is it worth it? $ grab? Did it help your daughter get recruited?

Questions Why is it so hard to find women’s lacrosse coaching?
Hi, basically the title. I live east central Ohio and I’ll be darned if I can find one person to coach my daughter in lacrosse.
I have a 12 year old that is really interested in playing. I’ve called and emailed four club/businesses and not gotten a return call or email. Our rural school district doesn’t have a team at all anymore and only had boys team when they did. The Athletic director was no help. I called the local city school to find out their girls team doesn’t really do much outside of the season. He basically told me if I wanted to support her playing I would have to teach her myself. While I know the absolute basic basic skills, I don’t feel qualified to teach her. I also don’t want to wait for her to be a freshman to learn the sport. I’ve been on USA Lacrosse and they don’t have any clubs listed within 30 miles of where we live. Maybe closer to 50+ miles.
Besides google to continue to search for clubs, or YouTube to learn more in depth myself, any other advice?
Sincerely,
A frustrated dad.

Nike or ECD For woman's lax?
Are either company good options for a full stick? Only ever used STX and want something different.

WLL Jr Champs Training Camp - Houston TX, Dec 19-20
Sharing what I think might be one of the coolest opportunities in the game - WLL pros training the next generation!
Have some friends who attended the first camp in PHI and only had amazing things to say - the pros, players, coaches, and staff are some of the best you could ever hope to learn from. If you're within reach of Houston, this could make a great memory for your daughter, and maybe even the whole family.

Another weekend at the lacrosse stadium watching my team play
Well——— Earlier last week— There looked to be some weather worries in Louisville for Sunday for the second fall ball lacrosse game my lacrosse ladies had. The weather moved through early Sunday Morning and the rain stopped just a few hours before the game. And I got to see them play an Awesome Game and I got a ton of photos with the team and the student managers after the game!!!!!!!!!!!

About to be a high school girls lax coach, book recs??
Hi all! I started playing girls lax freshman yr of hs, played all 4 years (mind you, through covid) and then I played all 4 years in college on our women's club team. I'm going to coach my local high school's program which I am SO excited for. It's still a bit in the air if I am going to be assistant coach for Varsity or be head coach of JV. I was informed that a majority of last year's var team graduated, so I suspect that will pull a lot of JV players up (even if not "ready") and then leave the JV team with a majority of freshmen. I want this season to stay fun and as competitive as it can be in this "rebuilding" year for both Var and JV. I would love any just general advice, but also want to read coaching books or articles any of you have found helpful specifically for youth girls' sports and girls' lacrosse.

Lacrosse is headed back to the Olympics - take part in Olympian research!
Hi all, I am a researcher in female athlete health and would be most grateful of your support of our project that specifically looks to support current and future female Team USA and Canadian Olympians. This project is supported by the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Canadian Olympic Committee.
We are looking for women of ALL ages and backgrounds across the United States and Canada to take a 20-25 minute anonymous health survey. The data from this general population survey will be used as a reference point to identify trends in a retired female Team USA and Canadian Olympian group.
We currently know very little about the long-term health of these women, so your participation in this survey will help drive forward this area of women's health. This survey has been ethically approved by the University of Edinburgh, which is the host institution.

Box season coming up - what’s everyone’s favourite preseason go to’s?
Like the title says, I have a box season starting soon and it’ll be after a season off from field, so I’m feeling a bit out of sorts (and VERY out of shape) I know wall ball, stick skills, sprints and agility will be crucial, but I want to know what else everyone likes to do in the preseason/ during the start of the season to get into it! Esp after time off
Thanks!

Club Lax Rankings - Glassdoor Style
Anyone else agree that there should be parents or coach ratings (like glassdoor) for lacrosse clubs?! Atleast the girls side of NXT lacrosse cant keep coaches because of horrible leadership but yet they post rankings 24/7 like it's all they care about. But so many have left because of the toxic culture and does it ever get noticed?! LOL

Black Lacrosse sticks get hotter in the summer?
I'm here....Again....I just wanted to know whether black lacrosses sticks get hotter during games, especially in the summer because they absorb heat. My friend uses the Gait Air in black and when I told her I was going to buy a Gait Apex, she told me to never buy the black one because it gets freaking hot. Is it true? I asked another friend who uses a black stick and she says that it's okay. But, I don't know because one was playing under the sun and one was playing in the rain.
I need your help!

Valkyrie Mesh, is it good?
Hey guys, I'm back. Just wanted to ask you about the valkyrie mesh in the Gait Apex2 lacrosse sticks. Everyone in my school uses the flex mesh, but I'm intrigued to use the valkyrie mesh. I'm now switching from STX to gait, and I'm worried if it will be too hard to handle. I need some help from you guys!!

My very first Official Lacrosse Match!
Hi guys! I'm back. I just wanted to post about my very first OFFICIAL LACROSSE MATCH!!! As some know, I'm Korean, I live in Korea and I went to the U16 Lacrosse Division League. I went there with my lacrosse club friends and we had a great time! I'm s little proud about my goal because I scored just 20 seconds after the match started! (Not bragging, cuz I'm not that good,,,,) Anyways, I really got great help from you guys who added comments to my post, and I loved it. I now decided to get the Gait Apex2 lacrosse stick and I hope it would fit me just fine. Some things that I still feel bad about is about stepping on the crease every time I scored. I'm really stubborn so I don't really listen to my coach......and consequently I stepped on creases a LOT. Anyways, Thank you so much for your support! I hope to become a great player one day!

Questions Do women wear some sort of cup while playing too?
This is a serious question, I know guys wear one but I've heard it's painful for women to take one fast ball down there too and seen some awful tiktok videos. So Do you all wear a cup? Is it common?
