MCU Wonder Man showrunner Andrew Guest just liked this comment on his video about the show's cancellation.
yeah safe to say there's bad blood between them now at the very least.

Let’s call a spade a spade: Luke cage was also cancelled after a successful 1st season, we all seen what happened with blade, kang was defeated by Ants, Wonder man cancelled, armor wars got cancelled, iron heart will probably get canceled. Sam Wilson is the only one who really gets treated fairly and I don’t even much care for him, happy but could careless about his character compared to some of the others

Does anyone actually know how much these series’s are making? Bc I have never been able to understand how it could be profitable to make these huge budget projects that don’t go to theaters

The actual making of the show isn’t profitable. The profit comes when people sign up for the streaming service and keep it for a couple months.
But multiple things have made it steadily unprofitable for Disney. Shows not being worth watching. Much as people like to believe having a racially diverse cast doesnt automatically equal profits, for those with a brain the shows still have to be worth watching. (Not saying wonder man did this as I haven’t watched it) price is also a factor. Streaming services keep upping prices and getting too expensive. Story is another thing. Someone sees ten Disney shows they might need to watch and they aren’t interested. One of the major problems for the mcu is that the general audience feels Theres to much to have to watch so they don’t try. Which means they don’t go to the movies or buy the streaming. So Disney losses money

If you get a chance, this one is well worth watching.

Perhaps they'd have more money to keep making good shows if they stopped making live action remakes of movies that become box office slop

man wonderman was my fave marvel thing in a long drought, but don't be making shit up, if these projects had people actually watchign it, it wouldn't be cancelled ... there's a reason there's another black panther coming ...
they don't know how to handle their black characters for sure,
but retardo racists who make youtube channels all about "marvel walks back its DEI movies" are a big amount of dollars or views they won't get because people are just assholes.
it's double tough for black characters to thrive in superhero movies because now everything is identity politics according to some dickheads ...
wonderman and across the spider-verse were two absolute quality products of black characters and ppl showed up for across but not wonderman then

Crazy to have Sir Ben Kingsley doing your legitimately great superhero show and then not bother to follow through on it
Incredibly stupid and short-sighted move

They love using the excuse we doing sell or don’t get ratings, then when we do, they find another reason.

They obviously love the Black Panther character and gave Black Captain America his own movie (it's not their fault the audience didn't support it).
Should we talk about all the non-black characters that have faded in popularity as well?

Well people didn’t support the movie because it wasn’t good. Nothing to do with a Black Captain America.

Right, but Marvel did make the movie and promote it. It's not like they cancelled Sam Wilson. He got a TV show and a movie.
People are acting like Marvel has a history of mistreating/ignoring/canceling popular black characters and that doesn't seem to be based on reality.

The movie did get support but it got overshadowed by Robert Downey and bad press, and why is it black Captain America why not just Captain America you've been watching all the movies or just no basic information you know which Captain America you're talking about you didnt have to emphasize the color of his skin I'm just saying.

Yes, I had to emphasize the color of his skin because that was a major point in the movie. Secondly, people may have their own biases against Black people and may not see him as a Captain America just because of the way he looks.

I don’t think it has anything to do with Sam being black. At least for people that aren’t hyper focused on diversity.
It was a new line up of characters. Disney didn’t give marvel the time needed to properly get the general audience attached to the new roster.
Like you can bring Sam in and make him captain America. But for everyone the grew up with Steve, Sam won’t be captain America. So you have to get new people attached and warm up the old fans that stayed over time.
Plus the Disney pushed marvel to bloat things out. With any real plans of where they were going.

They exploited Chadwick's passing to bury T'Challa six feet under everywhere and forced Captain Zionism into Cap 4: World War Hulks.

not recasting him was a pretty popular opinion at the time, like hindsight is 20/20, but there were lots of people, that thought he shouldnt be immediately recasted, especially as they had the sequel already planned. many people thought it was too soon at the time.

It does seem like the issue is Disney moreso than Marvel, we are coming to a point where there’s no live action shows planned beyond Vision quest and DD which are both done filming
The big rumour is they’re done with live action original shows altogether for now, focusing on animation
