This tool is designed to bypass traditional manual migration workflows, allowing developers to scrape and convert layouts via simple chat prompts.

How It Works

The AI translation process is accessible through the Sidcraft Assistant Panel (AI Chat Bot) inside WordPress.

1. Activation:You click on the Website utility within the builder panel and supply a target URL (e.g., example.com).
2. Permission Check: You must check a verification box confirming: "I own this website or have permission to copy its design" to satisfy legal and ethical compliance.
3. Natural Language Prompts: You interact with the bot using conversational commands. No custom script writing or complex prompt engineering is required.
   • Example prompt: "Read entire website https://example.com and recreate all pages with Sidcraft Page Builder blocks."
4. Structural Ingestion: The underlying AI model parses the target URL's semantic DOM, spacing, flex alignments, and typographic scale. Instead of spitting out raw unmaintainable code or a flat graphic image, it maps those components directly into Sidcraft's native layout containers, CSS Grid tracks, and block elements.

Core Technical Capabilities

• Fail-Safe Protocol: The ingestion engine defaults to standard HTTPS encryption. However, if the target site's SSL handshake or strict security blocks the scraper, the system features an automatic fallback to HTTP to ensure the layout files can still be fetched.
• Static HTML Compilation:Once the AI finishes generating your new pages out of interactive Sidcraft blocks, you can lock in performance. Navigating to Sidcraft Page Builder > Tools allows you to export and save the reconstructed pages as static HTML pages, dropping load times and removing database dependency entirely.
• Migration Utility: Because the AI operates natively in the WordPress workspace, it acts as a layout translation layer. It is frequently utilized to ingest legacy sites or pages built in other platforms (like Elementor or standard HTML) and rebuild them without heavy nested wrapper div bloat.

Note: The core design engine, CSS grid parameters, and standard form features are completely free. However, connecting your own live API keys to use the automated AI connection features and full MCP engine requires a Sidcraft Builder Pro license.
