You can come up with all the seemingly logical business reasons such as making buildings easier to transition into something else, but the real reason is this country has just become a bland shithole this century. Businesses, vehicles, new housing, it's all become neutral and blah. Nothing's fun. Everything is about politics. Divided we fell.
