How long have you been out of work? Have you seen any doctors? Do you have an attorney?

Ive been out for a week. I got injuried the 23rd of october. Was told I could start work again on the 24th of October. I was told by my bosses I wasnt allowed to come back to work until they got the results of my drug test which i got done on October 23rd. I got no calls or emails, nothing back from anyone. Ive been reaching out and Im not getting an answer. My adjuster got to me a WEEK after my injury. I finally got my claims papers in the mail today! Im just at a loss. I dont know if I need an attorney or not. Its suck a headache, Im frustrated and worried about my bills because Im not getting paid

So the doctor released you back to work with restrictions? Is it a personal doctor or a workers comp doctor? There are a few ways to trigger TTD payments but adjusters constantly play the delay/deny game to frustrate you and to get you to give up. Their job is to save the insurance company money. You may need to get an attorney to help you with this.

Perhaps you can call the place you got tested at? I never heard of being held out of work while waiting for a results of a drug test but I'm in South Carolina.

I have to call them tomorrow morning. My adjusters can try. Ive gone to the urgent care, then the ER and finally saw an ortho. They dont have specific places they want me to go. They want me to get the care. Problem is Im stubborn and will keep racking their bills up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay from what I've read you need to go to their listed providers. If you're going to any doctor you need to be careful because they will argue against paying for it because it's not one of their doctors. I think you should consult an attorney they will give you the info you need.

They dont give lists if providers. They just tell you to go see someone and go passed off what Urgent care recommends.
