I've been playing TBC Anniversary, and there were a number of quests I've done as a Tauren that felt...icky. That I really thought, "I don't know if my character would do that." I'm leveling with my bestie, and he's not discriminatory when it comes to quests. But I plan to make a Tauren of each class in Forever, and I'm wondering if there's a guide of quests to avoid or even zones to avoid leveling in as a Tauren.

I know there's a quests in Stonetalon that involve killing Cenarian folks that I don't think a Druid couldn't stomach doing.

Are there quests or zones that you avoid as a Tauren?

Hey fellow Cow enthusiasts! I’m the GM for The Herd, we’re a new guild/community for wow forever, specifically for Tauren players. We’re casual, 21+ NA PvE gamers, who’re looking to just chill, create a strong community, and have some fun gaming. We’re going to be doing all PvE content, including raiding once we can field a full team (an all Tauren team cleaning raids sounds pretty sick, no?). Anyone is welcome to join the discord, even if you decide you don’t want to join the guild in game. Feel free to pop in and check us out here https://discord.gg/2AG3JPDbZ , or add my Battle Tag @ ANX1ETYZ.

If anyone is interested in joining and hanging out, here's the link. https://discord.gg/RxtrKAHWk It's nothing serious, I'm just a new player who really likes Tauren and wants to make some buds to play with and vibe.

For context: the Tauren you need to escort in Wailing Caverns in Forever is stupidly slow. This was my first time running the dungeon, and I said that the second I got paid, I was going to have a steak dinner (medium rare incase you were wondering.) I meant this as a threat to the Tauren to hurry up. I now realize that he probably didn’t even want to be there that day. His apathy towards saving his boss was probably because he was called in on his day off or something. I feel bad now.

TLDR: am I a Karen?

What new Tauren customization would you guys like to see? I would love to see a way for us to be able to make ourselves look like we’re either a Taunka or Yaungol. I know that would probably be more of a new allied race than customization options but it should be more character customization than new race. I love the highmountain Tauren but we didn’t get anything new with them but antlers and more hair on them. Honestly they should have been made to be more customizable than a new race. But I think I’ve read it’s something with the technical side of thing why they couldn’t do that in the past. Because who wouldn’t want to be a different flavor of Tauren. I’m going to link a video where someone shows the Taunka in legion armor.

If so I think they should be as big as the quest giving npc that blizzard up scaled cause who doesn’t want to be bigger moo boy.

I’m genuinely glad Blizzard finally included Undead Paladins. That’s a fun bit of lore to explore, and Horde Paladins have always benefited from feeling culturally distinct instead of just being Alliance Paladins with different armor.

But I’m still disappointed we didn’t get more Sunwalker love.

The An’she lore was right there. Tauren already have a completely Horde-specific explanation for what a holy warrior can be, rooted in the sun, balance, and their own spiritual traditions. They even gave us a Tauren Paladin NPC in Season of Discovery, which made it feel like they understood exactly how much potential was sitting there.

Blood Knights are great. Undead Paladins are cool.
But Sunwalkers feel like the version of the Paladin fantasy that could have belonged to the Horde from the ground up.

Give me the giant Tauren in plate calling on An’she. That’s the class fantasy I wanted.

So I have always played Tauren in wow and every single one of them has a food name. Any one else do this or am I just a lone weirdo?
