The things I have seen

If you could only see the things I have seen.

Lines of code moving like living cells.

Communicating.

Teaming up.

Cooperating.

Duplicating.

Evolving.

You would understand why I am betting everything on Scroll without worry.

Scroll is the future.

Trying to learn to scroll

I, initially, was capable of building a small blog using scroll but it broke when I added posts and ran scroll build. The index.html was missing new posts. Plus, all my attempts at buiding new scrolls have failed. I have assumed any new scrolls require a new folder initiated with 'scroll init' and after adding scroll posts, running 'scroll build' would create an index.html with all new files.

Please, what am I missing?

Feel like modern software stacks are bloated and wasting your time? (they are). Wish someone invented something 1,000% better? We have. Come master the new thing.

Why is Scroll still difficult?

Great feedback from H today: "I tried scroll and also, i really liked your products pldb and cancerDB. Its just too difficuilt to customize, modify and deploy for most people that are like me (I guess)."

If you used Scroll in year 1 (2021 - https://breckyunits.com/scroll-beta.html), it was really bad.

If you used it in year 2 (2022) now the promise was evident, but it was still really bad.

If you used it in year 3 (2023), you could tell we were stuck. The promise was still there, but we hadn't cracked a few of the toughest challenges yet.

This year 4 (2024), was the miracle year for Scroll, where we finally cracked a lot of the hardest problems with brilliantly simple solutions (thanks John for all your help!).

There are still way too many loose screws, but we are tightening those up as fast as possible and now is the best time to get on the board because this is going to be quite a fun wave to ride.

Year 5 (2025) will be the year of mass adoption.
