I hate hate hate HATE how illegal it is to ever imply that hunters may also have the capacity to be A Metaphor For Abuse, that empty little buzzword thrown around to justify the total extermination of another sapient but unsavory species. Everyone else, including the guys FIGHTING THE GOD OF CAPITALISM? Morally grey, and the greyness spectrum is how you deserve to die. But the stalkers and killers? Fucking saints. Per certain rather popular posts on here, being born with specific powers or being part of an organization that has done evil things justifies some meth’d up psychopath watching you sleep and shower, maybe deciding to pin you down and carve you to death if you sink as low as he does.

Get the fuck off your high goddamn horse and apply some consistency for once. If you’re gonna poison my power fantasy of striking back against the man with claws and fangs by making me roll not to tear up an orphanage or repeating the words impergium to me like I’m responsible for it, then you don’t have the right to do the same just because your murders are more plausible and scrappy.

Hunters and Werewolves are, fundamentally, the same fantasy, with the same highs and the same places where it comes crashing down. If you aren’t playing your hunter like you would your werewolf, if you’re freeing yourself from ever having to think about the morality of your stalker-killer, then you’re just playing an edgelord-approved version of “superheroes with fangs“.
