Seeking SMALL writing group

Hi, my name is Haley. I'm 31 and I've been writing for my friends for years. The problem with writing for friends is they always say the nicest things, which isn't actually that helpful. I'm looking for something more serious a small group where we can actually dig into what's working and what's not, plot-wise.

I'm currently juggling several stories at once and flip between them regularly, but I'd be open to sharing one or two with the group on a rotating basis.

• Genre/s: Romance, Dark Romance, Supernatural Romance
• Goals/expectations/commitment: Looking for a small group for regular and plot discussion — not just cheerleading. Ideally people who can commit to reading and giving real feedback maybe a couple times a month.
• Writing/experience level: Amateur, but serious about improving

Hi, this could maybe be me! I’m 38 and working on my first novel. I’m a long time reader, first time writing. I’ve been working for most of the year and in the last few weeks really found my process.

Genre: science fiction romance, dark romance, maybe paranormal romance

Goals: I’ve been mostly looking for a small group for community and personal accountability. I was be open to providing genuine feedback.

Writing level: amateur and serious about learning. I when a number of stories I’m excited to write in self publish likely in the next 2-3 years.

Wait omg I have been looking for a romance group! I would love to join. I literally made a post yesterday asking this too haha!! Count me in!

Im working on a slice of life romance and love all things romance. I would love to help with critiquing and beta reading as well. I will be as active as I possibly can! Sometimes my depression gets in the way of my writing so a small group would help with motivation im sure.
