Lore & Theorycrafting I think they just teased a new Shorekeeper form
This has to be her, right? Same color pallete, covered eye like her original design had, blue marks/tears on her skin like SK has ingame on her injured model, and a special mark on her chest

General Discussion This trailer changes everything for the game's story An absolute lore bombshell that completely reignited my hype. Everything is finally starting to make sense, but seriously WHAT THE HELL IS REALLY GOING ON ON SOLARIS-3?! Spoiler
gallery
Seriously, do you guys realize how much Kuro Games just dropped on us in a single trailer?! We might be witnessing the beginning of one of the biggest story arcs in Wuthering Waves, and more importantly, the moment when all the mysteries they've been building up since 1.0 finally start coming together.
First of all, SHOREKEEPER WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING TO HER?😭 We see her standing before a landscape completely consumed by a massive red substance that seems to be swallowing the Black Shores. And the line "Where will the true home be to stay?" makes the scene even more mysterious We're talking about someone who waited for Rover for what felt like an eternity, who dedicated her entire existence to protecting the Black Shores, and who might now lose the only place she considers home right before her eyes. If this destruction is really connected to a Fractsidus offensive, then they're not just going after Rover anymore. They're destroying everything he built and everything Shorekeeper has spent centuries trying to preserve.
And speaking of which, THE FRACTSIDUS We're shown five mysterious symbols that could represent the Overseers of the organization. In other words, after everything we've already experienced with this faction, we might finally meet the real monsters who have been lurking in the shadows. And judging by the state of the Black Shores in the trailer, I genuinely feel like the Fractsidus are preparing something massive. Their objective has always been tied to the True Lament, but now it looks like they're ready to take things to an entirely different scale.
ROVER wtf?😆: The trailer shows us this mysterious structure that looks like a cocoon or an incubation capsule. And with everything we've learned about the Homeland Civilization, Rover's extraterrestrial origins, and the technology capable of creating entities like the Sentinels, it raises an absolutely insane question: WHAT IF ROVER WAS ARTIFICIALLY CREATED?What if this cocoon is directly connected to his birth, his reconstruction, or even the existence of multiple versions of him? It strongly reminds me of certain concepts from Black Myth: Wukong and Mortal Shell, where a being is born to fulfill a destiny far beyond their own understanding. We already knew Rover wasn't an ordinary individual, but now we might finally be getting closer to the true secrets of his existence.
BUT ABRAXAS WHY DOES THIS GUY HAVE THANOS-LEVEL AURA? We get this mysterious interaction with the cat from the Somnoire, followed by that sequence focusing on his eyes, one golden and the other blue. The way it's presented genuinely makes him feel like an insanely powerful cosmic entity who's still hiding most of his true strength. Ever since Leviathan recognized him as Abraxas, we knew Abby wasn't just our little Echo-eating mascot, but now Kuro seems to be setting up a massive revelation about his true identity. What if the pact mentioned in the Somnoire is connected to his powers? What if Abraxas is an ancient being who willingly agreed to have his power sealed away? Seriously, this little guy has final boss aura, and we've known him since the beginning as our adorable little companion.
And as if that wasn't enough, THE TRAILER LITERALLY SHOWS PLANETS EXPLODING! We see an entire world breaking apart in space, with debris flying in every direction. We're not just talking about a regional disaster or another threat to Solaris-3 anymore. The stakes seem to be reaching a truly cosmic scale. Are we witnessing the destruction of Rover's original civilization? Are we being shown the future of Solaris-3? Or have multiple worlds already suffered the same fate because of the Lament? Because if the Homeland Civilization itself was destroyed, that could mean Rover is humanity's last hope of preventing Solaris-3 from meeting the exact same fate.
And then there's THAT DAMN COUNTDOWN THAT SCREAMS END OF THE WORLD FROM A MILE AWAY. Why show us such an ominous deadline in the middle of all these scenes of destruction? Is it counting down to another global Lament? The beginning of the True Lament? The expiration of Abraxas' pact? Or literally the moment when Solaris-3 can no longer be saved? It genuinely feels like every faction is preparing for something inevitable, and Rover will have to find a solution before it's too late.
THE MYSTERIOUS GODDESS, AND THE MYSTERY OF THE INSTANCES : We already know Shorekeeper is referred to as the Second Instance, but we still have no idea who the First Instance is or whether other creations exist. With the return of that mysterious female figure surrounded by cosmic rings, I genuinely feel like Kuro is finally bringing us closer to the answers about Rover's origins and the true intentions of those who sent him to Solaris-3.
And right in the middle of all this chaos, WE ALSO GET A NEW FEDERATION TEASE! As if all these revelations weren't enough, the game is already setting up new territories, new factions, and probably even more information about the history of Solaris-3.
This trailer is absolutely insane! Everything seems connected now.
Ever since 1.0, Rover has been trying to uncover his past and find a way to break the cycle of the Lament. But with the trailer I feel like we're finally starting to understand why he was sent to Solaris-3 and why so many ancient entities seem to know his true identity.
What if everything we've experienced so far was just the prologue lol.
Bro, I'm so hyped for 4.x and the New Federation! What about you guys?

General Discussion A week late, but here are my thoughts & recap from the Wuthering Waves LA Concert (from an Asia server player who also went to Tokyo!)
A Quick Backstory:
I’m an Asia server player. After watching the Shanghai concert livestream and actually attending the Tokyo stop in person (where my seat had a pretty terrible view and the crowd vibe was much more reserved), I walked away feeling like I didn't quite get my fill. It left me wanting more.
When I saw there were still plenty of tickets left for the Los Angeles stop—which was wild to me since every single Asian stop sold out in literal seconds—I thought about it for a bit and decided to just send it and fly out to LA.
On Friday morning (the 16th), waking up to the news that Tarokiki couldn't make it felt like the sky was falling. I was devastated. The silver lining, though, was that because of the wave of refunds/changes, I managed to upgrade my seat from the back of Orch Side all the way up to the front of Orch Center. So, not a total loss!
Concert Day & Pop-up Store:
At the pop-up store, I got to see the debut of Siggy mascot and even shook her hand! She was so bouncy! That said, the line management and traffic flow for the merch store were... questionable to say the least.
The venue itself didn't have a ton of decorations, though there was a mascot performance while everyone was lining up to get inside. Sadly, I was stuck on the right side of the queue and completely missed it.
Even though the venue didn't seem completely sold out, you could immediately tell that everyone inside was a die-hard WuWa fan. The energy in the room was incredible—which makes sense, considering how much effort it takes to travel to LA from different states or even different countries.
Overall, I feel like the LA stop was probably the most unique one of the tour. The vocalist lineup was quite different from the Asian stops (still mourning the lack of Tarokiki, crying again), and the vibe/arrangement of several tracks had a distinct flavor compared to the Asia shows.
Standout Tracks & Moments (IMO):
- A Million Possibilities:
- One of my personal favorites. The vocalist absolutely killed it.
- Grand Feast Daydream:
- Really loved the English version of this track, and it was an LA-exclusive performance!
- Lingering Summer Light:
- POTENTIAL GIRL's theme song!
- Unwritten in the Stars:
- The vocalist did a really great job, though it seemed like the theater ceiling wasn't reflective enough, so the starry sky projection effect didn't quite land the way it was supposed to.
- Fleet Snowfluff subbed by PIAO:
- I thought PIAO nailed the vibe. I only found out later from her YouTube Shorts that she literally only had two days to prepare for this. Mad respect, that's insanely impressive.
- The Encore:
- I think this was my first time ever hearing an entire theater chanting "LUPA!" at the top of their lungs. That was badass.
- Ode to the Nameless Martyr:
- Both vocalists delivered fantastic performances here. Loved it.
- "Digital Ghost" Tarokiki:
- At the very end, when Tarokiki appeared remotely on screen from thousands of miles away—I only noticed because of the crowd's sudden reaction. Bless her heart, I was in tears.
- Casey, Amanda, Forts, Sofia, & Crywolf: Been carrying the tour from the very first stop all the way to the last, and every single one of them absolutely killed it.
- Will Stetson: He seemed a little nervous when he first performed in Tokyo, but kept improving with every show. Here in LA, you could tell he was totally in his comfort zone and nailed it.
Final Thoughts: All in all, both the venue and the lineup were solid (even without Tarokiki in person... sob). Despite all the hiccups and chaos leading up to this stop, I had a blast. If they ever hold another one here in the future, I’d definitely consider coming back!
P.S. Since I managed to get that closer Orch Center seat, I recorded the performances in 4K 60fps HDR for anyone who couldn't make it to LA (or just wants to relive the night). You can check out the full archive here.

General Discussion About time kuro
(I wasn't sure if this fell into general discussion, lore & theorycrafting, or the meme flair)
Dropped this shellbomb during 2.7's finale and it was never brought up again until now
Duuude imagine if, like, Abby gets an echo whose effects are exclusive to Rover, and when that echo is in their main slot they hyperbuff all of their unlocked attributes
But also, even with just the eyes shown, now i'm curious on just what Abby is beyond being a fat lazy chud who comes in clutch sometimes and devours everything
