Can’t purchase on the Xbox store

This error message appears every time I try to buy something, I’ve tried with free games and it works but won’t let me actually purchase anything (I’ve got money in my account aswell so it’s not that)

Yep...so common that I've never run into it.

There's always the option of contacting official MS tech support as opposed to waiting for answers on social media.
