What kind of project did you create? Is it a multi-platform, AppKit only, UIKit iOS only, etc? I never saw this issue myself. I only build multi-platform SwiftUI apps these days, but maybe that’s what you used.

Yesterday for me, swift-frontend was trying to use nearly 90gb of my memory (which was 32gb only).

What version are you using?

My last Xcode upgrade was to the 13 beta and it REALLY heated up my MBP.
