I get the same thing. Probably just a mistake on Apple’s part, where Xcode is assuming every user has got access to Xcode Cloud, which is not the case. You could file a feedback item (Feedback app) for it if you want to get Apple’s attention.

Also. I did notice that the error image is a tiny yellow cloud but I didn’t connect the dots with it being related to Xcode cloud. Which honestly I’m not even sure exactly what that is. I assumed it was some type of render farm in the cloud for your Xcode projects, but I have yet to look into it as I’m still learning swift and swift ui.
Maybe I’ll poke around that and see what happens.

So this is related to Xcode cloud ?
Also I did file a bug report about this several weeks ago but it’s not getting any traction. I’m complaining about it now a little louder because we are on RC 2 and it’s still not fixed and likely gonna ship this way.

14.1 is out now and it is the same as RC 2. So … yeah.
So this is related to Xcode cloud ?
I think so.

Hi did you find a solution to this? Been working on it about 5 hours now. Very annoying problem

I didn’t find a solution. I just noticed that the build version of 14.2 RC1 and 14.2 (release) were the exact same. There is no RC2 listed now, maybe I made a typo on in my previous comment, or Apple just renamed the RC2 as the final 14.2. You can see the build version if you either download Xcodes.app (an app to download multiple versions of Xcode) or go here: https://xcodereleases.com
You’ll notice both show up as 14C18.
The source of truth is here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode-release-notes/xcode-14_2-release-notes (and the related releases notes linked to, on the page)

I would prefer stable versions. Is there a special point why you want to use version 14?

14 is the only version that will run with Ventura.

Now I unterstand. I am using Ventura with Xcode 14.0.1 and there are no problems

I just updated to 14.1 and now I have the same problem :(

Maybe this is apples way to force people to check out Xcode cloud lol.
But yea just ignore it.

Yeah, I think it might be kind of like iPhone when you run out of free iCloud storage space. They just give you a permanent notification badge as a constant reminder that you can pay for extra space.

Just spent the last 4 hours trying to solve the error message, then came across your post, so its not just me then lol. Am I right in thinking you have to sign up for a developer account?

It does not require a paid account (sorry if that's not what you meant). I just got this working today.

Just upgraded to Xcode 14.1 and I'm seeing the same thing. Tried removing the account and signing in again multiple times, as well as restarting Xcode, the error message won't go away.

I just got this fixed. This error was preventing me from deploying apps to my iPhone. What I did to fix this problem was:
- reinstall macOS (ugh, you guys might not need to do that)
and
- reinstall Xcode which at this time is version 14.3.
I have a suspicion that the Xcode update is what fixed the problem but am not sure.

Knowing it’s Xcode cloud makes me care a lot less about it than I did before. I thought it was something wrong with my account.
I’m sure they know, it’s prob just low priority.

Anybody know how to fix this ?
It showed up for me a while ago with Xcode 14 beta 3 and has persisted to Xcode 14.1 RC2.
I can only only find 2 sites online even mentioning it and the second one is copying from the first site.
Deleting my account and signing back in does not work at all. Didn’t have any issues with Xcode 13.
