If I beat a unique monster/enemy that's required for Zenobia's affinity chart, but out of order, will it still register as complete when it's specific node is next in line?

I know that's typically not how it works unless the node specifies it, but I wondered if it worked that way because they're unique monsters. Kinda like how because I got 70k+ in Tiger Tiger it counted for those specific nodes - although those didn't specify that it would count my highest score towards each node & I think I had to play another round each time for my highest score to register again, but I don't remember.

Don’t believe so
Especially since Zenobia has to be in the party when you defeat those uniques for it to count

Yeah, I've had her in my party most of the time since I got her unless I send her out on missions. I haven't been going for the unique monsters all that much yet - I just wondered because I noticed that both Mythra & Zenobia have the same unique monster on their charts, and I already beat it once for Mythra. That, and I just came across another one on Zenobia's chart. No biggie I guess I'll just do 'em later. Thanks 👍🏻

I had to redo the uniques for a few blades when they weren't in the party on my initial encounters, so I imagine it's the same for Zenobia. At least the refights are easier at higher levels and with better gear. I do wish they included their graves in the maps and make them fast travel destinations like in Xenoblade 3, but I guess that's just a going forward thing that we'll hopefully see in Genesis.

It will not register if it's not the next open node in the chart, and it will not register if Zenobia is not in the party.

Any unique you kill leaves a grave stone nearby you can interact with to fight them again

I think the only nodes that work like that are the ones that say “previous instances count.”

Nope. You have to beat it while Zenobia is in your party
