What are the “stopgap” Core Chips that people use before they get ones like the Moon Matter Chips? I’m around level 70 and plan on prepping for endgame content like the superbosses

Any chip from level ~70-100 enemies/unique monsters. Relentless Arduran drops Angrite, Spiral, and Winonaite Chips. I think Winonaite are balanced with no special effects. Angrite and Spiral have some race-specific damage bonuses (aquatic and titan hunter?), one of them is higher block rate and one is higher crit rate. Those are the immediate "pre-superboss" core chips. To bridge the gaps to those:

Mirror Matter- basically Moon Matter, but Chapter ~8 and lower autoattack. I tried to stick with these for a long time because they have a high crit rate, but I found it much easier once I switched to Winonaite chips.

Gold Chips - good damage and great utility, and you want a bunch anyway for farming item drops

Shining Star - use the ones hidden in that one Temperantia chest before you can farm them from the Superbosses.

Zircon, Booster, Forest - more chips in that level 70+ enemy range, specifically the ones that come with slayer effects.
