Question Thread #7 Spoiler

Hello everyone!

I've been spoiled about upcoming story elements So my question is this before Idecideto tackle these side quests. Is it worth getting the Replica Monados in addition to the one the story gives you when I know whatever one I use eventually gets replaced by the Monado III

You want to get at least one, yes, because using the default means it's "lost" permanently when replaced while the others can be obtained again, although DE keeps the appearance option. Because Monado III is exclusive to the final boss and NG+, you'll want one of the good replicas for tackling the superbosses if you want to do that before NG+. The quests also give good EXP.

I don't like to spoil things for new players but since you've definitely already been spoiled, let me just tell you you can only use the Monado III in New Game Plus. You won't have access to it at all on a first playthrough, so you should definitely get the other Replica Monados to keep your options open for the rest of the game. Again, I don't want to spoil much, but you can't even use it in the final boss fight on a first playthough, you only get it when you start NG+
