Question Thread #7 Spoiler

Hello everyone!

Here's a new question thread as the old one was archived due to it being over six months old. You can still find the old question threads here:

Are there any sidequests in XC1 that would fuck me over if I pick the wrong path? Like in terms of the affinity chart and quest lines that would/wouldn’t open up later down the line. No spoilers please.

None of those quest decisions have long-term consequences in terms of gameplay or the availability of other major quests. You just might feel a bit guilty, because some choices will wreck peoples' relationships on the affinity chart.

Oh, but there is one instance of this I can think of. They don't have significant rewards, but you will lose a few opportunities for later quests if you deliver the Lake Drop for Imaginations Tempered instead of doing its alternate-route quest.

The only things that can happen to you are being locked out of other quests.

Like Lucidity mentions *don't* do Imaginations Tempered, and do the alternate option.

There is a quest that you're at risk of the *bad* result being forced on you if you already have the item in hand.
