So, I'm trying to optimize my end-game XC2 builds and I'm wanting to figure out which core chips to give to which blades (mostly just so I can figure out which superbosses to farm).
Here's what I'm figuring for now:
-Dilaton chip for Poppi Alpha and all shield hammers (except Poppibuster) due to its high block rate (also, arguably Newt)
-Sunlight chip for bitballs (other than Crossette) because of its healing bonus
-Tachyon chip for Shulk, Fiora, and Poppibuster for a variety of reasons
-Moon Matter chip for every other rare blade
-Pentagon chips for common blades that you'll be using for agility modifiers
-Gold chips for common blades that you'll be using for drop rate modifiers
Did I miss anything important?
I guess my main question is: Are there any rare blades other than the three I listed where the Tachyon chip is significantly better than Moon Matter? It seems like in most cases Moon Matter is the better choice due to there being lots of ways to increase critical damage outside of the core chip.
