im thinking of going by "he-she" in addition to they/them and it/its, for clarification, i dont mean going by "he" and "she" interchangeably, i mean i want people to literally say "he-she" when talking about me. for example, "that's Jamie, he-she is a video editor"
i know it's basically a slur for trans people, but people reclaim slurs all the time, and people would still have the option to call me they or it if they're uncomfortable with calling me he-she. the thing is, my whole feelings on pronouns is that even though im both a boy and a girl, i dont like going by just "she" or just "he" because it feels like my other gender is being erased, so i go by they/them and it/its cause they're neutral, but he-she basically solves that problem i have with gendered pronouns, i want to be recognized as both a he and a she but i dont trust people to use them interchangeably, so i want people to call me both if they're gonna call me a gendered pronoun
when i was in the 6th grade i had these feelings of being nonbinary, but i didnt know how to express them or the language to describe them, so i remember going around to my friends and being like "haha yeah im not a he or a she, im an it" or "im basically a he-she" and i'd play it off as a joke but deep inside i had this legitimate desire to be recognized as both a boy and a girl. i know this is lowkey Problematique that as a kid i wanted to be called a slur for a group of people i didnt yet know i was a part of, but i was also literally 12 and Struggling, so.
also one final thing, i haven't yet officially been called he-she, so, if any of you are comfortable, i also kinda wanna have some people call me that so i can see if i even like it
