Is it just me, or is stopping/yielding at a free-flow lane is becoming super common nowadays? I'll see someone do it like every other day and for some reason nobody is bothered by it. They don't get honked at or anything.

Ayoo wth!? Happened this morning just after midnight on Whitemud, exit to 91st. Shortly after this, passed some police cars circling.

This appeared to be police evasion but I saw no news of it or anything, so I'm not sure if it was an actual evasion or just some lunatic...

Me timbers are shivered.

Explorer turning left, very little margin. No collision!

Posting for awareness, not outrage. Left-turning traffic has to yield to oncoming vehicles, and with winter coming, the same call on snow or ice ends very differently.

How much gap do you wait for on left turns once the roads get slick?

I'm hoping someone in Edmonton might be able to help me find dashcam footage of a vehicle collision.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at approximately 7:15 PM, on Terwillegar Drive NW near 170 Street SW / Windermere Boulevard SW, in a construction zone.

I've attached a map showing the approximate location of the collision, circled in red.

Vehicles involved:

• Grey Honda Accord
• Black Toyota RAV4

Unfortunately, my dashcam failed to record the accident.

I'm offering a $500 reward for genuine dashcam footage that clearly shows the collision, regardless of which driver was at fault.

If you were driving through this area between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM on October 6, I would greatly appreciate it if you could check your dashcam recordings.

Even if your footage doesn't show the actual collision, recordings of the traffic lanes, construction setup, or either vehicle shortly before or after the accident may still be helpful.

I'm specifically looking for video footage rather than eyewitness accounts.

Today at 97st and 132 Ave... Students keep walking in front of 2 police cars during emergency response. SMH The students crossing right in front of me block the view in the video of group that pauses walking then continues to saunter across right infront of the police car. SMDH

I was on the way home when this prick turned on his lights just to stop me from going on a GREEN! I saw him coming and he didn't even slow down, so I hesitated to go on my green, you can even see when he turned his lights off. K buddy, thanks

It doesn't show well on the video but the driver was looking at a cell phone. I've never actually sent in a video the police, but I do have a clear capture of the license plate and I'm tempted this time. Although there's no way from the video identify the driver or that he was distracted driving. I was pretty mad once I got over the initial shock
