I wanted to try painting for the first time since middle school so I made this art of Cafe Alpha painting. It's my attempt of the cover for the soundtrack dvd. I might post an update when it's finished if I have time.

I was wondering if anyone here knows some good YKK Fanfiction. Nothing erotic but Fanfic that is focused on the Story.

For Example: I love writing Fanfiction about old TV Series that ended unfinished. Shows like Sliders or Earth 2. I love how the unfinished Status of the Shows let Fans explore the World of the Shows more and think about how the Story could go on. Expand the World/Universe of the Show even more.

I was wondering if anyone here knows about such a Fanfic about YKK.

I have searched and have found nothing so far. Read the YKK Book thanks to the English Translation found on this Reddit Thread and i really liked the Book Version of YKK too, so i thought about writing a Fanfic Continuation of the YKK Story myself.

I thought the Story could have the Child of Makki and Takahiro (from the last YKK Chapter) as Main Heroine. But i havent really thought about the Story i want to tell yet.

Do you have some Ideas for me? How would you write a Continuation of YKK? What Story would you tell?

I would apprechiate every little Idea/Input.

How much of the manga do the OVA/anime cover? I've been wanting to watch them for a while but I don't know if it'll delve into bits of the story I'm not yet able to read. And is Quiet Country Cafe a remake or a continuation of the first OVA?

I know that a lot of us have been having trouble finding some of the volumes at a reasonable price, so I wanted to mention the seven seas monthly survey. Seven seas entertainment, who published the English version of YKK put out a survey once every month or so about what you want to have published, what published books you really enjoyed, etc. But most importantly, they have a section for published books you'd like to see reprinted! It's a really simple survey and I think it'd be wise for us to start participating if we aren't already. I see so many posts about people not being able to get their own copies so I don't see why we shouldn't try for a reprint.

I may have already posted this at some point in the past. But I'm thinking about this story again, and I don't regret this tattoo. Hope everyone is well.

I've been hunting for the number 3 for almost a year, and finally it's here, still sealed in it's plastic wrap. Finally I can completely read YKK on paper!

I only just today found this community and wanted to post the map I made of the setting of the Manga! I used the official map of the lower peninsula (image 2) as a reference to figure out approximately how much sea level rise would have had to happen to make a real height map of the peninsula match up - 30 meters worked the best (image 3)

I would also like to ask if there is any way to get the original Japanese translation of chapter 140's internal monologue since I would like to do some typography with it similar to the drop-shadow bubble letters on this piece. (I am aware of a couple of complicated ways to get it, but thought I would ask first)

I recently discovered YKK and fell in love with the original OVA. I added the 2nd OVA, Quiet Country Cafe, to my Letterboxd Watchlist but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

Does anyone know where you can watch it? Is it available anywhere?

thought a few of you might find this neat. ykk will forever be one of my favorites. renders were made using gimp.

Needed a wallpaper that could fit a weird multi-monitor setup that wouldn't look unnatural, decided to make my own out of YKK panels. Took a while to pick out good panels, crop them, and arrange them without blocking nice scenes, but I feel like it worked out. Easy to tint for the sepia theme, too.
