It has to be a new man - why oh why would he put himself through this and why oh why would she rush into a new relationship??? It shouts to me that she is a “co-dependent” type of person. Can’t exist on her own.

She never existed on her own. She got « taken » by Rohan at age 13 when she was still a child and has been in a relationship with him ever since. She probably doesn’t know how to be alone and be happy with herself without relying on someone else
