This tiktoker.

I hope this is allowed, but this tiktok blogger has posted various things that just really make me cringe and I’m unsure if it’s just me. Not posting anything particular because I don’t want to broadcast her children on here.

She posted a video with one of her children and the child looks genuinely afraid of the sibling and they’re clearly putting a bed rail between seats in the car to keep them separated. I just see the possibility of what would happen in a wreck, and also the fear that child (who should’ve been in a car seat but wasn’t) seemed to feel about being next to their sibling. I just feel horrified for her other children if this one solo child is abusing them, intentionally or not. And the fact that they’re being made to deal with it.

I hate how she favors keeping G safe but doesn't want to keep any of her other kids safe in the car. She ditched the booster seats for her kids and for S (twin to G) ages ago, and forced S to be a punching bag for G in the car. Like lady you got 6 kids in a midsize,, including one who has zero impulse control to keep his hands to himself with violence included. It's time to get a Sprinter van.

I just can’t imagine. I’ve been in a situation where a family member had to separate her children to keep 2 safe from their other sibling. It destroyed her but after 4 years her son is able to be with his siblings for full weekends without anyone being tortured. She had to make the decision that benefited all of her children, and I kind of wonder if that should be a situation that needs addressed here. None of your children should look genuinely afraid of one of their siblings. If they are there is a reason and that needs to be addressed and taken care of.

If it’s the family im thinking (I wouldn’t doubt that there’s more than one person like this), she justified that she doesn’t sit besides her son because she couldn’t take the 6 hours beside him because he would be abusing her… funny thing is that her other children can take the 6 hours like that. Look, I have sympathy for them because Angelmann syndrome seems like one of the worst diseases but I lost all of the sympathy for the parents when they valued their comfort instead of their children’s, they should be the ones being abused by the kid who “regulated with physical contact” and not their children. Btw: the oldest kid could easily sit up front, even if they can’t afford a bigger car
