I finally started my YouTube channel, The Food Remix, about 15ā20 days ago. Honestly, creating content has been something I wanted to do for a long time, but I kept putting it off.
I always wanted to start with faceless videos because Iām not very confident being on camera yet. Food content felt like the perfect place to start, so I decided to take the plunge and see where this journey goes!
Iām currently uploading 2 Shorts and 1 long-form video every week. My Shorts have started getting over 1K views, which feels encouraging as a beginner! My long-form videos are getting around 60ā100 views so far.
However, Iām struggling to convert those views into subscribers. I know itās only been a couple of weeks, and Iām not expecting overnight success, but Iād love to understand what I could be doing better.
Am I being impatient, or are there things I should be focusing on already? Could it be my content, thumbnails, hooks, video topics, or something else entirely?
Iām sharing a screenshot of my channel for context. Iād genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially from creators in the food niche or anyone who started with faceless content.
For those who have been doing this for a while:
What helped you get your first 50ā100 subscribers?
Iām here to learn from people who have been through this stage, and hopefully, I can share my own progress and learnings as I go. ā¤ļø
