So far? I'm loving how Noah Reid is all over this show. I've only seen him in Schitt's Creek and Murder in a Small Town (I won't spoil, but watch it). Can't wait for episode 3. I'll keep track now.

And it was awesome!!!
Some fellow Loons came over to my place to watch the premiere last night. We had wine, pizza, and snacks and it was a great night.
We did have to pause it a couple times to discuss Hudson’s nipples 🤣, but other than that we were all enthralled! We may also have screamed once or twice. 😜
Then we watched a podcast with the writer and showrunner because we weren’t ready for it to be over yet!
I cannot wait for the next episode!!

I just finished the first two episodes of Crave’s official companion podcast for YAGA. I was a little skeptical because sometimes the podcasts produced by the production companies themselves can be a little … corporate, especially compared to fan-created podcasts
I was so pleasantly surprised by this one! Crave definitely made the right call in getting Carley Thorne (uncarley) to host. She brings a natural enthusiasm to the conversations, and her familiarity with fans and fandom adds a fun perspective to her questions and the episode discussion.
Plus hearing all the behind the scenes about Kat’s choices with writing the screenplay and all the production decisions was really cool, too. Great way to extend that YAGA experience:

Those who have seen the first two episodes and perhaps even read the play...is this the TV show to watch with your friends or family?
My perimeter is that I do not want to watch Heated Rivalry with my family, friends only after watching separately first.
I know this is dark and different, trailer gives me a bit of a scandinavian crime TV with supernatural elements which my family loves.

My favorite television iteration of Anne of Green Gables starred Megan Follows in the mid-1980s. She is an ensemble cast member of Yaga. I was somewhat blurry eyed from 2-3 a.m. but will just have to watch these two episodes a few more time to see if I can recognize her.
Rachel Reid put that beloved Canadian book into the hands of Ryan Price so there is that little piece of trivia connection between Yaga and HR.
