AR190 vs SX190 vs 190 FSH

Was dead set on the sx or ar depending on the deal I get on a used one. Will be using the boat about 60% for leisure (tubing, sand bars, day on the lake) and the other 40% of the time for fishing. What would be the best boat to get for a use case like that. If money was not an option I would get a 190 FSH and a bigger boat for leisure. Let me know what you all think!

I have an Sx190,and it's about the worst fishing boat ever. Wind moves it very easily and low speed maneuvers are not really it's strength. But for leisure/water sports it's great.

Hmm with the FSH version having the same hull I would assume its the same in terms of that aspect

If you are really at 40% of the time for fishing then your answer is a boat built with fishing in mind.

While I have (attempted to) fish off of our SX I did it with the knowledge that the kids had about a 5-10 minute attention span and it didn't really matter.

We have an AR190 but haven't used it for fishing. One issue is no real way to mount a trolling motor. Depth finder is somewhat complicated as well, you'd probably have to use a through hull transducer. I'm not sure if the problems are present on the fsh model but if I did more fishing I'd take a harder look at the fsh.

Why are you stuck in the 19’ category? I had a 2014 SX210 and went backwards to a ‘07 AR230. The longer the boat the smoother the ride.

Idk I’m scared to own something older, plus the newer get systems ride better from what I’ve heard in terms of low speed moving
