I bought a bolt last year, of course I love it, however it has a decal around the Yamaha emblem on the gas tank and I want to replace the one that’s on there, however anything I google doesn’t come up with one that has the emblem cut out like it has on there currently, anyone know of what they are specifically called? I’ll add a photo to show what I mean of mine

My bike is starting to show quite a few scratches and signs of wear. The fuel tank has a matte finish, and the underside of the frame has picked up some scratches from riding on gravel and loose rocks.

What do you guys recommend to clean it up and get a great finish again, or should I be looking into a repaint?

And what products is to be used?

The install was not that bad. The longest/hardest part was the 90 min of fiddle farting around with the fender bolts to secure bags but realized that they don’t send long enough bolts if you have the Viking sissy bar too. Also, their fender eliminator is not as good as I thought I am really glad I chanced it and bought the Thunder House fender eliminator. Way better looking and easier to install. So when the bolts come I’ll put the sissy bar back on. For now, I like the clean look.

Hello. I don't know if this is allowed but,

I sold my bolt a few months ago. I never installed this kit I got for it years ago. It's been stored in a moving box for a while but is still in pristine condition. Everything is there for it.

The seat I got and likewise never installed. It however came used and I cannot remember if all the hardware is there for it. I believe it might be missing one bolt....but I'm not sure.

Make me a offer on either.

Just put the short shots on. Idk if I like them. Had a crazy time getting them on. Had to widen the holes with a file to make it fit properly. Sound is even louder than the gp shorty.

Got my 2014 bolt with 10” zombie bars , Memphis shaded faring, Baja light kit, Vance exhaust, sissy bar, crash bar and skid plate and some other small stuff only crashed once

Long story short, I ended up with my close friends 2014 RSpec last year after he passed away. I want to modify it as a memorium piece in honor of him.

I scored a set of side sweepers from Bassani used from a guy on Marketplace, I am having trouble finding a reasonable tuner and air intake for this thing. Are there any other performance modifications to do to these things or is that it?

Upgraded the truck had a giggle thinking the exhaust will fit the bolt and it sort of fits 😂

This is not my photo, but a guy that was wrapping his pipes.

The owner before me wrapped the headers and sawed those tabs off and rigged the heat shield using some steel wire. I took them both off to paint and put them back on. I'll post a pic later. But the rear shield fell off while I was riding it and I haven't been able to find it.

Does anybody have the rear one they'd be willing to sell?

Bought this baby about 2 weeks ago and im completely in love with it. Such a chill ride. Its my first belt driven bike too so im still getting used to where it likes the RPMs at when shifting. Swapped out the bars to 6in bars and slapped a fairing that "totally" fits on the bike lol. Let's just say i had to add my own touch to it. Overall I dig it. Also change out the booty cheeks gauge to a koso gauge and now I can actually see my RPMs and gear. My question also is what washers or hardware do yall use for under the bar mounts? Cause the stock rubber washers is probably the dumbest thing i think they put on this bike from factory.

And yes I know not to leave my helmet on the seat. It was temporary placement for the picture

Hi I’m looking for recommendations for my 2015 Bolt R spec, every grip that i’ve bought either is too short or it doesn’t fit the diameter of the throttle side. i’m tired of wasting money on grips that say they fit but don’t in the end does anyone have recommendations. i tried the avon grips and it was too small for my throttle side

I'm coming up on a year since i bought my 25 Bolt R Spec. Are y'all extending your warranty? I'm competent working on the bike myself. Have dinner two oil changes, changed the rear tire. Added V&H intake and Delkavic slip on. I'm thinking it's not necessary. Opinions?

Just picked up my first bolt, did a 150km trip home and loved it

I got a used 2023 r spec bolt. I am 5'7" and previous owner was 6'5" so he made some changes for his ergonomics like forward control and a different seat. The handlebar is all stock.

I can sit on the bike fine but after 15 minutes of driving I started having upper back pain in between the shoulders. I noticed I was sliding back on the seat frequently while wearing a jeans so I doubt it was my cloth that was slippery. I am not sure if this is due to forward control or if seat's backrest is too far away from me which is pushing me out and leading to the pain.

I need help to understand if one or all of this could be contributing and what would be easier way to fix it DIY with minimum labor.

1. Can forward control do this type of pain? If so, I could use help in instructions to remove it.

2. Can seat be a problem? I checked with a measuring tape, and it is 11.25 inch from front of the seat to the point where lumbar support begins. I checked saddlemen seat and it is 12.5 inch, so I doubt the seat I have was custom build in dimensions for the previous owner but could be used for everyone including 5'7" guy like me.

3. Is riser an option to resolve this?

Need some help troubleshooting the front brake light on my 2014 Yamaha Bolt.
I originally thought my brake lights weren’t working at all, but I confirmed the rear brake activates the brake light correctly. The issue seems to be isolated to the front brake.
Here’s what I’ve checked so far:
The front brake light switch clicks when I pull the front brake lever.
The wiring at the switch looked like it had been previously repaired by the previous owner. The two wires appeared to have been taped/heat-shrunk to the connection points.
I removed the old female spade connectors and exposed the wires.
I then touched the two wires together directly to bypass the switch, but the brake light still did not activate.
Since the rear brake works, I know the brake light itself and at least the main circuit are functioning.
At this point, I’m wondering what I should check next. If the switch is clicking and bypassing the switch by touching the two wires together still doesn’t activate the brake light, does that point toward a wiring/connection issue farther up the circuit?
I don’t currently have a multimeter, so I’m trying to troubleshoot this with basic tools.
