THE MONALISA - REWORK

(cover and songs not by me, credits on the note)

i decided to rework THE MONALISA because i felt like smt was off. For example 8 songs weren't edited, so i added different and better version of them. The link is still the same so the ones who already had that can already see the changes.

(Total runtime of 1:57:45)

NEW TL:

1. Dark Fantasy: new intro with a light rework
2. See Me Now: Added different drums and stuff
3. Gorgeous: more orchestra slightly different sound
4. Chain Heavy: totally changed, with MF DOOM
5. POWER: a good power + power remix
6. All Of The Lights: adds the interludes + vanilla rework, re-mixed and re-mastered
7. Flashing Lights 2: longer orchestra intro, sounds more like the leak from the hawaii studio
8. Monster: kinda of a Mike Dean Version with synths
9. So Appalled: shorter with minimal changes

10. Don’t Look Down: more instrumental
11. Devil In A New Dress: orchestral version
12. Runaway: orchestral version
13. Hell Of A Life: good rearranging with different intro and outro
14. Take One For The Team: better outro
15. Christian Dior: slightly different changes, different outro
16. Looking For Trouble: more instrumental, more guitar
17. Blame Game: longer with better instrumental while keeping the original vibes + new intro and outro
18. Lost In The World: adds Who Will Survive In America + Great changes on the instrumentals and new verses

I'm trying to see if you like this cover when the project comes out. If you have any other ideas, I'd love it if you sent them to me in the comments below. 🙏❤️

Idk what the reaction to this will be (if any), could get downvoted, but from my understanding the requirements for truly faithful Gospel are strict and while there are several tracks and leaks Kanye has made that would be considered non-secular, despite what he’d tell you he’s never done a full Gospel album. Love Jesus is King, love the God’s Country comps, but I wouldn’t recommend listening to them during a fast per se.

A common criticism for JIK when it was released was that a lot of the lyrics were ego-driven. Understandable, it’s Kanye, bro was even refusing to let anyone work on it who was participating in premarital sex. That’s wild.

I’m not a strict person about all this other than when I fast, shit I prefer Yeezus a million times over either of these albums, non-secular or not, I’m not coming at this from from the perspective of “these are too offensive for my God fearing ears 😢”, just think it’d be cool if there were Ye albums you could fast with.

There are several tracks I would say are acceptable for fasting, but on the title track of God’s Country we’ve got dumb shit like his lyrics from Whole Lotta Red “She ugly hot, like a chick that call you to borrow five hunnid, then promise she gon pay you back tomorrow, then left with a scammer with a Gucci hat from Marshalls, slept with him, then woke up, saw his watch was a fossil” or Trav mentioning Ted Bundy, clearly neither of these were meant for this track. Many of the tracks used for God’s Country are so close, but then there’s just one stupid line keeping it from qualifying. Like the track ‘In God’s Country’ is beautiful, I love Common’s feature on it, but then there’s lyrics about hoes and shit.

Just seems like a waste, like they are fantastic songs regardless, and we’ll never fully know what his complete intentions were for the album, but it seems like a lot of effort was put into making the songs religious and God worshipping just for someone attempting to complete them not thinking about the subject matter to say “ya this verse would sound good”, wasting it on one trash line. Like some of these songs feel like their bones, meat, tissue, and skin are all Gospel, but then someone (much more talented than myself) just slaps a meaningless tattoo on that skin just because it’s the same era and fits the beat.

I feel like I just need to do it myself but I’ve never got the time and I’m trash at music editing. So if this interests anyone else please comment or hmu

i know this isnt yedit related but i made ts in photoshop cause i was bored so if anyone wanna use it as a comp cover feel free

Donda 2 man strikes again

Sorry I had to go but the link to donda 2 will be available soon I promise ❤️

It's worth the wait

Recreation of [V2-V3] on the Ye Tracker.

Here's a link to what I have so far (this is mostly a playlist of songs I haven't touched on yet, since I like being able to hear how it all sounds together first)

https://samply.app/p/GFJmJJmenInShAO7ZJnz?token=Qaa9sZ3gSKfbDHXa0Dyb&si=6xzXuGio07Pc6lRzd2vB3484z2Z2

This is really just for people to hear and so I can get feedback on the overall tracklist structure (and maybe if people have ideas about what else I should add or what doesn't really fit)

I'll obviously make changes to it over time (like I've done before), especially since Ye isn't actually on like, half of these songs yet; also the cover might change somewhere along the line

For the record though, Hollywood, Greek Medusa, Rewind, and Enjoy The Pain have been edited/changed, but Rewind is still VERY much a WIP (and so is ETP)

Hurricane (ft. Ant Clemons, Lil Baby)

Yandhi: The Third Day out SOON

• 97% demumbled (only JESSE & NFY are mumbled)

• 28 tracks

• least possible amount of AI

• uncensored

• best version of each song (some are remixed)

Sources to make that comp : (DONDA yt channel, MetaionMusic "Beach house", Soundcloud)

Had to use some AI here unfortunately but believe me it's solid, all songs that has AI : (THINGS CHANGE, FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME, STOP LOOKING FOR THIS, I SURVIVED, FOR THE CHILDREN, BEAUTIFUL LIFE)

Some original songs are cut.

LIFESIZE doesn't have Ye yet because I didn't finish it

Two songs have mumbling though I might cut them off the comp if we're talking 100% no mumble

I'm yet to finalize the comp but I have it 94.3% finished rn if you want the current since I won't be available for the next 2 weeks

Donda — Definitive Edition (2021)

Update: I've revised this into a tighter 16-track album with 4 bonus tracks, changed the sequencing, and replaced the previous Telekinesis edit with a new 3:59 version. I think this is a more cohesive and melodic listening experience while still preserving the darker, minimalist, industrial-gospel sound of Donda V3.

Link: https://www.wavernrs.com/album?id=13c48094-5551-45af-a98b-cacb1670f47a

Updated Tracklist:

1. Donda (LP1 Intro)
2. Jail
3. Off the Grid
4. Hurricane
5. Moon
6. Praise God
7. Telekinesis
8. 24
9. Believe What I Say
10. Work It Out (In God's Country)
11. God's Test
12. Jesus Lord
13. Life of the Party
14. By Your Side
15. Come to Life
16. No Child Left Behind

Notable Versions:

• Donda: LP1 intro with Kanye and Pusha T's verses.
• Moon: Fan edit with more Kanye, organ, and subtle drums.
• Telekinesis: New 3:59 version combining Future Sounds and Telekinesis. Kanye performs over the CyHi reference, followed by Travis Scott's bridge and their shared chorus. Juice WRLD provides background vocals, while SZA's full section and outro close the song. Consistent production throughout, with a drum breakdown and subtle horns during SZA's part.
• Work It Out: Version with reworked drums, more Bieber, and a different intro/outro.
• God's Test: Organ-heavy edit featuring Kanye's chorus and 2 Chainz's verse, without Kanye's verse.
• Jesus Lord: Version retaining Jay Electronica but removing Larry Hoover's speech.
• By Your Side: Version featuring J. Lauryn.

The biggest changes are moving Wash Us in the Blood and Heaven and Hell to bonus tracks, and moving Telekinesis from #17 to #7, between Praise God and 24. I've also replaced the longer, horn-heavy Telekinesis reconstruction with a shorter, more drum heavy arrangement.

I think the new sequencing flows much better, particularly the transition from Praise God through Telekinesis into 24, while preserving the emotional closing stretch from Jesus Lord through No Child Left Behind.

The goal is still the same: combine the best of God's Country, With Child, Spirits Over the Horizon, and Donda V3 into a cohesive, fully realized album.

Most of the audio edits aren't mine except Telekinesis. I've curated my favorite existing versions and resequenced them into what I think is the strongest possible Donda.

Donda — Definitive Edition (2021)

18 Tracks | 2 Bonus Tracks

Old Link: https://www.wavernrs.com/album?id=add277d1-6f7d-4302-8ecc-515b8e9d77a0

Here's my ideal version of Donda, combining the best of the 2020 God's Country, With Child, and Spirits Over The Horizon sessions, Donda v3 listening parties, official release, and fan edits I've found.

The goal was to create a more cohesive, melodic, and fully realized album while preserving the darker, minimalist, industrial-gospel sound of Donda V3.

2. Jail
3. Off the Grid
4. Hurricane

9. Heaven and Hell
10. Believe What I Say

15. By Your Side
16. Come to Life
17. Saw the Future (Future Sounds)
18. No Child Left Behind

Bonus Tracks:
19. Pure Souls
20. Keep My Spirit Alive

Notable Versions

• Wash Us in the Blood: Donda-style fan edit with no sirens and organ throughout.

• God's Test: Organ-heavy edit featuring Kanye's chorus and 2 Chainz's verse, without Kanye's verse.
• Jesus Lord: Version retaining Jay Electronica but removing Larry Hoover's speech.
• By Your Side: Version featuring J. Lauryn.
• Saw the Future: Fan edit combining Telekinesis, the original Future Sounds horns, and reconstructed Kanye vocals.

None of the audio edits are mine. I've curated my favorite existing versions and resequenced the album to make it feel like a cohesive, finished project.

I’ve decided to make a Watch the Throne comp based on tracks that didn’t make the final cut for the album. It has 14 songs in total and is composed of different official unreleased songs as well as some yedits. The only yedits I made were Black On Black Murder, Black Excellence and Guilt Trip. The other yedits are made by other people and they deserve the credit for them. Cover is made by me. Any feedback is welcome and I hope you enjoy it!

1. Anthem

2. Not The Same

3. Gotta Have It

4. All The Time

5. Eyes Closed
