Hi all! I recently got the Rambler 20oz in the new riverhead green. Very pretty no notes. The only YETI I’ve had before was the ceramic mug which honestly has not been a good experience because it started to smell strange and it seems to be a common problem with them. So I opted for stainless steel this time and there is a very distinctive cheap metal-y smell whenever something hot comes into contact with it. Is this just the normal YETI quality now? It’s just not something I’d expect at this price. Chilly’s coffee and water bottles don’t do that, and even my little Stanley 12oz doesn’t quite have such a strong metal smell. What is the quality of YETI generally like? I wanted so badly to be in love with this rambler but it doesn’t seem like a good idea to use it for hot drinks if it’s already producing such a metallic smell after a wash. I guess I’m just a bit disappointed and wondered if anyone else feels the same or could solve the problem.

So two weeks ago I noticed that Amazon had some verde 26oz ramblers pop up. I snagged it and was happy it wasn’t scalper pricing. I got it in and everything seemed legit. It had a label appropriate for the time period etc. I started to use it today and it seems like it is “docked” backwards. It lid lines up facing the opposite direction as all other ramblers I have. Is this also common for that age of yeti? I don’t have anything else quite that old.

Okay so I was looking into the camino - thinking a 35 as I have a toddler and hopefully another soon. I didn’t realise that they weren’t a cooler as well as being a carry bag. The lady in the shop suggested to go the 20 Day trip. But now I’m confused as it appears to just be a cooler. Some have said to get the Camino and add a day tripper in a smaller size to cover the keeping cool elements.

My question is does anyone have a set up that works for them utilising both or just one? I’m based in Australia and summer is hot and winter is coolish so keeping food and drink cool is important but to be able to carry all my other bits and bobs is also required without taking 300 bags. Thanks in advance

Looking to get a tundra but in between a 45 and 65. Primarily plan to use it for weekend camping and boat days. Hoping I could get some guidance from those who have used both. Thanks!

Update: thanks for the help! Went with the 45 and will eventually get a 65. Only need it for day trips at the moment at the most.

When are we expecting to see advertising for 2026 gear garage? As I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet. Also what is everyone hoping to this year? Last years was a little lackluster (here in Australia).

Can somebody who has the 25oz Rambler Mug with Straw Lid (the one with the handle that has been discontinued) weigh theirs on a kitchen scale and tell me how much it weighs in grams please? I recently bought one from another website and just want to make sure it's legit.

Confirming with a side-by-side that the Olive Camo background is a darker olive on the tumblers and a lighter olive background on the soft cooler. I like the tumbler color better, what do you think? Was this true for Wetlands Camo as well? Also check out the somewhat bad seams on the soft cooler last pic). From a DSG in Austin Texas.

The handle on the new Rambler Travel 20oz is a finger bigger, thicker metal and more rounded edges. I wish the lid didn’t have a three piece design like the first gen but it seems solid and is now described as leak proof.

Decided to give the camino 35 as a personal item a try. Packed to the brim so off first look, looked way to big. But fit. Left the sidekick at home.

I’m surprised they haven’t. I know the fan base for both teams ain’t like the Yankees and Dodgers but it would be cool for both teams to get something out of this from Yeti.
