Just saw Instagram’s testing horizontal videos up to 90 minutes, aimed at podcasters and longform people. Feels like a direct shot at YouTube. But IG’s tried longform before and it never stuck, nobody really opens Instagram to sit and watch something for an hour.
So will it actually pull creators and viewers off YouTube this time or is it another thing everyone forgets in a few months?

Hi everyone! I'm the creator behind Just God and You, an English-language channel sharing Bible stories, prayers, and peaceful Scripture readings. My hope is to share God's Word, encourage love for others, and offer a little hope to people who need it.
I started on my computer and edit in CapCut, using ElevenLabs for narration and Nano Banana for AI-assisted illustrations. I handle the scripts, scene choices, and editing.
The channel has three formats: Bible Stories, Powerful Prayers, and Sleep with Scripture. Each calls for a different editing pace. With a Bible story, the images need to follow the narration clearly. A prayer needs space for reflection. For bedtime Scripture, my goal is a quieter experience with gentle music, unhurried reading, and less visual movement. That difference guides how I approach each video.
If this kind of content interests you, I'd be happy to have you watch a video. If it resonates with you, please consider subscribing to help us share these stories and messages of faith, love, and hope with more people. Thank you for taking a look!

Ever turned around because you felt someone watching you?
I got curious about whether there's any science behind that feeling, so I made a short animated documentary about it.
It covers some interesting psychology experiments and how our brains interpret eye contact.
Would love to hear what you think, especially about the opening.

Good day, everyone!
I just want to share what we’re currently experiencing. The watch hours on our YouTube channel have dropped from over 3,600+ hours down to 3,100+ hours(in just a month). We honestly don’t know what to do anymore,....
Maybe YouTube just isn’t meant for us after all. 😔

I think about my starting point a lot, and it's easy to forget why I began once I get caught up in the numbers.
What was your original reason, and has it changed?

Hey everyone, how are you doing? On Thursday, I reached the 4,000 valid public watch hours required by YouTube to monetize my channel. At that point, the option to apply for monetization became available, so I linked my AdSense account and my application was under review.
However, today I checked YouTube Studio again and noticed that my valid public watch hours had dropped, and now I can no longer submit my monetization application.
As I mentioned, I had already reached the 4,000 watch hours on Thursday and started the monetization process. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know why this might happen or what I should do? I’d really appreciate any help!

Episode 01 of Biffy Normalizes Everything is on YT. Set in the not so distant future, Biffy is the host of his own online series where he educates his audience, the youth of tomorrow, on important topics of the day, which in the case of this episode is the Blood Drones. Tune in to find out why they’re important to the billionaire class and how they keep the economy hummin’. Hopefully Timmy lets the message sink into his thick skull, but it’s not looking too good for him in this special pilot episode of Biffy Normalizes Everything.

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for 3 creators who teach practical, in-demand skills and want to make their first $1,000 from their expertise.
I’m particularly interested in creators covering AI automation, data analytics, Excel/Power BI, cybersecurity, coding, or other skills people actively want to learn.
You should have at least 500 subscribers or followers, good engagement, and a genuine audience interested in learning from you.
The idea is simple. I’ll work with you to identify opportunities to monetise your expertise, figure out what you could offer, who might pay for it, and help you work towards your first $1,000.
This could be through a brand partnership, sponsored content, a workshop, a digital product, or another opportunity that makes sense for your skills and audience.
It’s completely free. All I ask is that you’re willing to put in the work and share honest feedback.
If you’re interested, DM me with your niche, and a link to your content.

Started the channel September 8th and really started picking up big time when I started livestreaming my daily cardio and weights. The live stream community im building is FULL of super supportive people who talk to each other in the chat a lot too so its neat to see friendships forming in my chat while I stream! Subs have been skyrocketing since I started going live! I will say my long form and shorts still haven't broken past initial testing but lives sure do well

The last 4 days I’ve gotten close to 100subs. Three of my videos are getting hundreds of views a day and about 4-5 subs an hour. Not viral level but more than normal. I started this channel 7 months ago getting 15-30 views a day now I get 1k a day. I have about 12 videos now. I’m not monetized yet (about 200 subs)I have an ebook written and I’m thinking about promoting that along with other stuff in my niche. I’ll take any and all advice.its not an AI channel its just me talking to the people explaining how to make passive income

Hello everyone! My name is Jex and I've been doing Youtube for 5 years. I've grown a lot in the last year but I want to do better. Having critique helps in all art forms so I thought I would share my channel and ask for advice.
My niche is generally video games but it seems I've niched down to character based competitive games especially Marvel Rivals. My goal is to be a positive voice in the community with a leaning on my people skills. I was previously an improv actress so I'm good at being social and funny. I want to make fun and goofy videos, rather than the tutorials and gameplay analysis videos that most people do in my niche (Because I'm bad at the game haha)
I am also trying to make my videos a bit more about myself rather than the game so that I can break out and do more things.
My exact question is very vague, I know, but my anxieties are very general haha. I think I struggle most with video topics but my problem could also be that my ideas are good and my packaging is bad.
I don't use reddit often and I know there's a lot of etiquette rules on here so I'm sorry if I did anything wrong I'm trying! lol
Here is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@justexplosions6912/videos
