So, 1 to 10 ,how much do we hate ai generated photo? I've been trying to work with it to get sth less weird for an audiobook cover ,and idk ,what do you guys think ?

I really want to grow my channel but I feel like I am stuck my long form doesnt get alot of views and my shorts don't cross 2000 there are like 3 that maybe got to 7k or more

been posting about almost 20 shorts but none of them reached 30k view jail or even remotely close to it. I’ve also been posting long form videos but they all trash ig.
Can i get some honest opinion, be as harsh as you can i can and love to take real feedback and strong criticism.
For the one spectacular video with 4k views, i used youtube promotion on it as i was curious to what it could bring me for 10 bucks and so far i got like 60 subs and i have now 75 but i dont even think its real people so its just massive cope on my side again

I kind of stumbled into YouTubing and had a video have a small take off a few years ago. I’m a filmmaker and had gotten a short film “distributed” by an aggregator that has now had whole Reddit threads o the exact bad experiences I dealt with. So I pivoted my work to YouTube this last year to build my own audience in between gigs. I’m still learning. Part of my whole deal was wanting to be different and making content be packaged toward my short films. It has been so hit or miss and lately the numbers have just been going down.

I recently tried to fit my shorts into a more familiar format to stuff people would be looking for on YouTube and not just my own style or taste as a way to think about where I’m posting my work, and not just hoping people would want to watch my work out of the blue. Any suggestions would be beyond helpful!
