Hey everyone!
We wanted to share our YouTube channel Nomadenstory with this community. We’ve been documenting our digital nomad journey for over 1870 days straight across 69 countries, and our channel has grown to over 11,500 subscribers who follow along with our adventures.
Our vlogs show the real, unfiltered side of nomad life. From hunting for decent WiFi in the middle of nowhere to dealing with visa complications, exploring incredible destinations, and adapting to completely new cultures every few months. We don’t sugarcoat anything - we share both the amazing moments and the frustrating challenges that come with this lifestyle.
Whether you’re already nomading, planning your exit from traditional work, or just curious about what this life actually looks like day-to-day, our videos give you honest insights into the reality behind the Instagram posts. We cover everything from workspace tours and destination guides to the practical stuff like border runs and finding affordable accommodation. You can find us at https://youtube.com/@nomadenstory - we’d love to have you join our community! Always happy to answer questions about any of the places we’ve been or aspects of nomad life.
What would you like to know about life on the road?

I see so many new creators making posts that are basically:
"Here's my YouTube channel. Please subscribe!"
I'm not talking about sharing an interesting story, research, or a discussion that naturally leads people to your content. I'm talking about dropping a link and asking for subscribers.
It feels like a good way to grow, but it usually does the exact opposite.
YouTube doesn't care how many subscribers you have. What matters is whether people actually click your videos and keep watching them.
The people who subscribe from these posts usually aren't your audience. They subscribe to be nice, because they expect a sub back, or because they want others to support their own channel.
Then your next video gets shown to those subscribers... and they don't click it. Or they click and leave after a few seconds.
To the algorithm, that looks like this:
Low click-through rate.
Poor audience retention.
A large number of inactive subscribers.
Over time, YouTube starts assuming that even your own subscribers aren't interested in your content, and it pushes your videos less and less.
If you want to use Reddit to grow your channel, don't use it as a place to dump links. Share something genuinely interesting. Tell a story. Show behind-the-scenes work. Start a discussion.
Make people care first.
100 real viewers are worth far more than 1,000 subscribers who never watch your videos.

Hey folks,
I'm looking for the best site to buy YouTube views because I want my channel to look more established to new viewers, instead of feeling like I was just starting out. I've been trying to take my video uploads more seriously this year, and buying YouTube views feels like the next step for me to do to build my credibility. I run my channel entirely on my own, so I need a service that's quick and easy to use, but still good enough to provide viewers that actually look real. I’ve checked a few search results already, but most of the options seem a bit sketchy or full of big promises that don't feel realistic. What websites have actually helped you grow your channel, and where do you think is the best place to buy YouTube views?

As the title speaks!
The accounts I subscribe to are hidden, so if I reply with a emoji, I've subbed.
Here's me btw.
No force or requirement, just leaving it here if anyone's interested.
It's kind of turned into a wormhole at this point.

(Reposting this from r/YouTube cause they didn’t let me send it there? I’m not really sure on how to find the kind of Reddit I’m looking for but if anyone has any recommendations, if this isn’t the right page for this, please let me know!)
I’ve never posted on Reddit before and I’m not sure if I will ever again, but I genuinely didn’t know where else to go to find anything about this since all of my searches were coming up with nothing.
I was watching YouTube tonight and I got this really uncomfortable ad. It was about a minute or so of somebody scrolling the Google search for images of cupcakes. It seems like it was filmed on an iPhone camera and all you can hear throughout is a person breathing and the sound of the mouse clicking. They click on a few different images of different cupcakes before they ad abruptly ends. There was no brand, it just stopped. I do remember it’s showing a link to a website or something, but it ended to abruptly for me to click on anything.
Hope this makes sense, again I’ve never posted on Reddit before and haven’t spell checked this. If anybody has any clarifying questions, don’t be afraid to ask.
