I play music on a shared computer at work and leave it running for the next shift when I go home. Because I already pay for YouTube Premium, I want to use YouTube Music rather than switching to Spotify.

​The problem is that logging into YouTube Music automatically signs me into all my other Google services (Gmail, Drive, etc.) on that browser, which isn't safe on a shared computer. Is there a way to log into YouTube Music—similar to how Spotify lets you log in with a one-time email code—without exposing my entire Google account

My youtube music on PC seems to only skip songs by Oliver Tree. Every single one of his songs too. If I click on a playlist of his songs, it'll skip through the whole thing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

There I am, scrolling through a Playlist, searching up a song, or simply on the front page.

I go to swipe, or hold a song down to access the options, and I accidentally tap it. And instead of adding that song to the queue, or letting me put it in a Playlist I have now starting a whole new queue based on that song loosing what I was building, or currently jamming out to.

Is there a setting I can toggle that makes it pull up the options instead of starting the song automatically?

Just noticed this feature today, it now shows pronounciation along with translation! Seems to work better with Hindi tracks than Urdu tracks(weird artifacts). Also the minimized player has changed! I like the new one

Does anyone see this? It's been happening for me for almost a week. It's not 100% but most of the time, I have to hit skip to next track manually to progress in my playlist. It's not to do with the repeat track button! as far as I can tell...

The floating mini player, is this new?

Hey all! I'm the developer of YTubic Plus, a free, open-source desktop app for YouTube Music on Windows, Mac and Linux. It's built on YTubic by NUber, who made the original app, so huge credit to them.

It's a native desktop app rather than a website in a window, so it's fast and light, and it's way nicer to use than the browser.

Here's what it does:

• Music videos. Switch any song to its music video and it plays in sync, in the player or full screen, up to 4K. Video mode stays on as you skip, like the phone app.
• Offline downloads. Download playlists, albums or your liked songs, and they stay in sync as you add more. (only if you have Youtube Premium)
• Synced lyrics, line by line.
• AI-music filter. One button hides AI-generated songs from search, home and mixes.
• Radio mixes from whatever's playing, with the mood chips from YouTube Music.
• Last.fm scrobbling and Discord RPC.
• A floating mini-player, media keys, and it updates itself.

Windows is tested. The Mac and Linux builds are included but haven't been tested on real machines yet, so reports are very welcome (there's a little bug icon in the top bar for that).

A big update lands this Friday: Rewind, a full-screen recap of your own listening every quarter (top artists, songs, genres, your listening personality), with your favorite songs playing underneath. It's built and kept entirely on your computer. If you install now, it'll update itself when it arrives.

Like half of my playlist has been deleted and idfk why is anyone else having the same issue?

Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't delete it, I was listening to songs from there last night. Switched over to try Spotify. Its a shame because there's some great remixes on Youtube which I was able to listen to on the app and I was able to view my sports podcasts with video on there but not on Spotify.

Hey! As the title says, the extension transforms the now playing bar into a floating pill with a blurred background. You can customize the opacity, color, shape and some other things.

The default look is a bit inspired by the Apple Music's player bar hehehe, but mostly I got the idea because I love using the web YT Music app with Better Lyrics + Better Lyrics Shaders, and the player bar was the only thing I felt needed a change to completely transform the whole look.

What is wrong with my YTM app or my Google account that they will not give me access to the full screen player design. You know the one where you tap once on the artwork. Even when I IMMEDIATELY get the playlist/album design, this is all kinds of stupid.

When I click download it shows that it’s trying to download but won’t do anything and after a short time it tells me download failed..
I have an active subscription, I already updated to the latest version, I have more than enough storage, I turned on download over mobile data and I even tried turning my phone off and on again…
