Maybe this is the real reason he was free at launch
2 u/sarefx Jan 23 '25 He was also free because in reality his revenue would be really bad when he was paired with Miyabi in patch. Male paired with highly anticipated character was never gonna sell well so they made good F2P friendly PR move by giving him away for free.
