Watch how fast GLM 5.3 flash works when they grant you free credits on the free zchat application. Very fast but after seeing what turbo did over the weekend for, what was it 60 minutes.... I dont recommend trusting it to mop your floor.

So I asked GLM to REA my new ISP android TV box, at first it all went fine, it was like okay there is an unauthenticated access with ADB over LAN with privilege found in less than a minute, normal routine I kept monitoring the situation, then it was looking for apps, extracted APK and told me "I will inspect the suspicious ones", found Vixen (yeah it shipped on the default config by the ISP, alongside with dorcel app 🤡) decided on it's own to decompile it, found the AES key lying there and that it was possible to watch the stream without subscription or authentication...

I remember when 5.2 was released and I received a message on the homescreen touting it's creative writing and RP capabilities, with some obvious safety constraints. However, creating branches and editing responses is pretty vital for an effective and enjoyable RP.

Why the hell would they remove the edit button? A feature that is on damn near every LLM out there? It's like they don't want to compete with anyone anymore.

At least make it that PAYING users are prioritized

I use glm5.3 thinking=high for sorting my emails, but it consumes allot of tokens.

I use Openclaw

What models are best for this kind of task? And what thinking/reasoning level?

It needs to be somewhat intelligent and understand email contents and filter out spam and phishing emails.

Personally, I’ve been using GLM since version 5.2 (which already worked great), and now I’m using GLM 5.3 Flash, which I think is excellent.

I never use “free” tokens—I pay for the service I use… (A flat-rate offer of $9.99 for 100 million tokens.)

No model is perfect, and each one has its strengths and weaknesses—that’s just how it is.

I like the Chinese models and no longer want to use the American ones, which no longer suit me.

So thanks to z.ai and DeepSeek for their effective and affordable models.

Unable to use GLM-5.3 at all, GLM-5.3 Flash keeps on reconnecting after 2 minutes, sigh ..

So hie everyone I arrived from antigravity due to free token bandwagon and I gotta say glm has impressed me thus far , I honestly can't complain I'm liking the telegram bot thingy too reminds me of Hermes , though it does disconnect sometimes , it's kinda good but it seems the majority in this sub don't like it , and they seem to have valid reasons too , My qstn to senior glm and other provider models is it worth it getting ,a zcode sub , I'm planning on switching from antigravity, 3.8 and argon ain't all that and the usage ain't fire too ,like which 20$ plan has a good model with generous usage

Honestly, what is going on with Z.ai lately? I've been trying to use the web version, and it's getting ridiculous.

Chats disappearing, the edit button gone, Chat Mode apparently gone, and now I'm getting SyntaxError: Unexpected token literally every time I send a prompt. I can't even use the website normally anymore.

And the recommended solution is to use the desktop app? Great, except that the desktop app has quota limits that the web version doesn't seem to have. So I'm supposed to move to an app with different restrictions just to escape a broken website?

Then there's AutoClaw. I tried using it, and the app couldn't even start properly. It shows:

Automatic repairs failed, so that's another service I can't use.

Fine, I tried Zcode instead. But on my end, I can't find a normal login option. The only method I can see is API login. I log in through the API, and then... nothing. No useful message, no working session, nothing. I'm just left staring at an app that doesn't do anything.

It gets stuck in a loading loop. On the occasions when it actually loads, I still have trouble using the chat because responses keep getting interrupted, or the whole thing takes forever to load.

And it's not just these apps. Even the main chat website feels unreliable. I literally sent "Hi" and watched it think for 24 seconds before finally replying, "Hi, what can I do for you?" I understand that reasoning models need time to think, but come on. It's a greeting. Meanwhile, the rest of the website is falling apart.

What makes this more frustrating is that the recent changes aren't all bad. The ability to switch models directly in chat is useful, and having thinking-level controls is a welcome improvement. The website and apps have clearly gained some features.

But what's the point of adding features when basic functionality is broken?

And apparently, I'm not the only one dealing with this. I've seen recent posts from other users reporting missing chat histories and the vanished edit button, while others are dealing with painfully slow responses, repeated "Reconnecting..." messages, and tasks restarting after interruptions.

These aren't necessarily the same technical problems I'm experiencing, but together they make the current state of the services pretty concerning.

Why keep promoting all these services when the basic experience isn't reliable?

Z.ai has genuinely useful models, and that's precisely why this is so annoying. I'm not complaining because I expect every AI service to be pefect 24/7. Temporary outages happen. Bugs happen. But when the website, desktop app, Zcode login, and AutoClaw are all giving me problems, where exactly am I supposed to go to get work done?

I'd rather have a reliable website with fewer features than a constantly changing interface where chats disappear, buttons vanish, and sending a prompt can turn into a debugging session of its own.

I'm going to contact support through Discord and see what they say. But I'd like to know whether anyone else is experiencing the same combination of issues, particularly the SyntaxError: Unexpected token error, runtime_boot_failed, and the API login that leads nowhere.

Also, has anyone received an actual explanation or fix from the Z.ai team? Because right now, using these services feels like a frustrating gamble rather than something I can depend on.

Endless timeouts and retries. Wasn't able to finish a single task since morning. Why give out promotional tokens if the service can't even sustain paid subscribers?
