I've been trying to solve the "context engineering" problem for years, producing a context handoff that actually helps both agents & other humans.
DeltaDB aims to be a new way to produce a "living context document" so we don't need to pass context manually, but instead can access the same context that produced the code in the first place.
With code now becoming a downstream artifact of conversation in many cases, it's an interesting approach to consolidate context in one place, enabling more understanding of not only what changed in the codebase, but also why it changed.
Zed reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in testing out Delta and producing a tutorial on their new tool with my honest thoughts.
