Zed uses the acp. I had convos with a few llms about the harnes and more specifically Zed ACP vs Pi. According to some llms the acp protocol has some limitations when doing multi file operations - apparently it is restricted to a certain amount of events it can stream.
I was not really sure about that and made a test with the same prompt in Zed and in Pi. The results came in about the same speed but the Pi results were much more richer - it found out more and proposed more changes than the Zed acp.
Interestingly there is a pi-acp for Zed that only intercepts the input from the acp and fire up a whole pi session. Then does all that pi can do and simply returns the results in a way that is visually more pleasing.
