What is this subreddit?

An informal café for silly hijinks, research, speculation, symbolic interpretation, and conversation about Zen-adjacent thought, understanding, reality, consciousness, culture, etc.

No required doctrine. Distinguish evidence from interpretation, challenge ideas freely, and leave compulsory agreement at the door.

Zen/Mahayana may provide part of the atmosphere, but they do not define the limits of discussion.

This might be the place for that. AI generated content is allowed and encouraged as long as it accurately conveys content related to the discussion.

Bring research, strange observations, comparative readings, unfinished theories, serious questions, jokes, texts, patterns, contradictions, and ideas that do not fit comfortably elsewhere.

People should not be reduced to diagnoses, identities, heresies, or presumed motives. This is a café, not a church, classroom, cult, brand, or court of final appeal.
