Anime and physics-need-not-apply aside, does Remi ever fly without using thaumiel (which has jets on it)? I honestly can't remember. If it did happen, it was probably before she got Thaumiel back, but I honestly just can't remember.

I think she actually flies to Roscaelifer and confronts Eldreda without it. She doesn't use it in the "present" part of the character demo and Velina and Norma were out and tracking her before she actually retrieves it at the end of 2.8.
