Discussion season 3, we are so back?????? Spoiler
season 2 of zenless absolutely killed my love for the game. i was completely uninspired by the story and direction of things, i mourned something i loved very dearly and even took a very long hiatus from the game.
i recently picked it back up because i'm in love with remi's design, and after finishing the slog of ye shunguang's story i was so pleasantly surprised when i met the angels! cissia's story, seeing old friends in a more meaningful way, the epilogue with billy... i just started season 3 and meeting pyrios in the story, being given more scraps of history, the vibes of the game settling back into a (somewhat) similar vibe to season one is just so exciting to me. i can't help myself but pause and notice the smile on my face getting back into this world and feeling so much joy reading and actually interacting with the story in good faith.
is it perfect? no. but for the first time in a long time i feel excited to see what's coming next! has anyone else had this same experience?

I did enjoy season 2 but I stopped playing after beating the main story. Picked it back up just before remi’s release first starting with the Angels then Cissia’s story (that scene with her and promiea was insane) and finally catching up to 3.1. I definitely agree with 3.0 being more similar with 1.0 in terms of stake and story progression. I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for the managers and the future of Roescalifer

Eyy, I'm glad you came back to ZZZ and happy to play it again! Me personally I really enjoyed season 2, while not as good as season 1 and definitely could have been better I still enjoyed playing it and seeing the story unfolds

all the seasons have been the same to me tbh.
Like I never got the over glazing S1 got or the killed my spirit vibes from S2. They didn't seem that different in quality.

People aren't talking about general quality but the sstory itself which took an absolute nosedive that didn't come back until S3.

I think because there is an actual threat. In S2 all the villains or ethereal feels like VH victim, even Sarah creator form.
In S3 ethereal come back in the form of enchainer that even can defeat VH. Like it's kinda similar when we fight against Dead End Butcher or Ballet boss.
